My biggest gripe about living with a woman is the constant communication. I get home from work, and all I wanna do is focus on my side project. But I'm constantly getting bombarded for my free time to talk. Then by the time I finally have the ability to sit down and get some actual work done on my project, I have to go to bed soon. It took me 30 years to find a woman I could live with. This is how I did it. I was totally honest and up front with my needs BEFORE we moved in together. I told her what I needed to maintain my sanity, and I held firm. I told her I need my own bathroom, my own bedroom, and my own office with TV so I can have some space when I needed it. Everywhere else in the house is mutual territory, 24/7, including kitchen, living room, dining room, family room, and garage. While I don’t have 100% freedom, everyday I feel grateful that I found a woman who is willing to respect my boundaries as I respect hers. It’s been nearly 10 years together now, and I owe it all to the courage of being honest from the very beginning.

There’s a lot of women who want their own space too but never get it really . But I agree it’s about being upfront at the beginning .. I do feel men are brought up in western society for the man to feel like he’s doing the woman a favour .. my take on it is as a woman .. 1 in the beginning talk about finances 2 make an agreement if kids come about for support 3 agree to have an amicable split 4 let’s face it until men carry babies for 9 months and shoot a melon out of their orafice it’s always going to favour a female and rightly so . But if going onto a relationship a man should protect some of his wealth .

5 years ago my hubby and I designed a custom home with 2 master suites on opposite sides of the house-his and hers. People were shocked at what we chose to build. However, any male (especially the contractors) who saw the home when it was being built/done was envious and admired the logic of the layout. Females largely judged the quality of our marriage because 'after all, how good could it be if you're not even sleeping in the same bed??" Will that change when I'm an old man? Maybe, but I can only speak for how I want to live my life in the present. I did live with a long term gf for a couple years several years back. It was not fun-nothing too crazy really but it just was an unpleasant experience that I would not repeat. There is no benefit to me that I'm not already getting from having a GF. I cook my own food, clean my own house, sometimes have a cleaning service, etc... This idea of near 24/ undiluted time together doesn't work for me. Most women push for it to get some level of security and someone to pay at least half of the bills (usually more). They are very pragmatic and clever when it comes to pushing for this sort of thing.

I'm turning 50 in only a couple of months. People, coworkers, family, friends, even a couple of neighbors hate that I have never married or have kids at my age. The concepts described in this video regarding the State's legal interpretations of male/female interactions and financial/emotional/other resource consequences compounded with the modern feemail's delusional and even narcissistic character is THE CORE of why I refuse to agree to marriage/cohabitation/kids and even allowing an interaction to progress to satisfy the legal definition of a "commitment." All of this is perpetuated into a 24/7 enabling of feemails to extract from men's genuine want to build lives with a feemail. Why men continue to volunteer for these liabilities that feemails have no problem inflicting onto a man no matter how great of a soul and caring heart he has is at minimum mind boggling with gut wrenching on top of that. I was born in and have lived in Los Angeles California 49 3/4 years of my life. I thank God for never allowed me to have give into any of ex's demands and subtle hints to get married and/or have children in this God awful LA County court system.

Marriage and relationships as defined in western societies today is a minefield. Don't step into it. Statistically, you are very likely to be damaged by attempting to live there. While it has always been a messy endeavour, so much interventionist law and legislation governing every little thing has developed in recent decades that it is essentially an industry for lawyers and the courts. And yes. Those in possession of a vagina have a distinct and unfair advantage. Do your research. Read the data. DON'T GO THERE !

1:00 "Nobody tells you up front" about how marriage really is. This reminds me of this one skit on SNL back in the day with with Will Ferrel in it where he and this other guy met this 3rd guy at a bar to talk to him just before he gets married. Will then proceeds to tells him all these lies that go against marriage stereotypes. He's telling him the sex only gets better and more plentiful. The food is always great. She never pushes you around. Everybody is laughing because while everybody knows this isn't true, we all get married anyways. Finally the guy leaves and says "Yea, I am going to get married. Thanks for the advice." Will Ferrel and the other married guy are left looking at each other silently until Will finally breaks the silence and says "WHAT!........Screw him. Nobody told us!"

I keep hearing from all our family friends that have been married for 10 - 15 years that their relationship are at all time low. Being in 11 year marriage myaelf I can attest to that. When the love is gone, and the bliss is over, the rose glasses come off, and the couple has to learn to live together once again. The questikns is do they really want to, or sometimes have to learn to love together when small kids are tangled in in between their crappy relationship 😢

Bottom line is that cohabitation in general isn't for everyone, whether it be with another of the same sex, opposite sex or if the relationship is platonic or romantic. If a person prefers to live alone, then cohabitation would probably be an unpleasant experience, regardless of the relationship of the people cohabitating.

This is such a powerful reminder of the Hindsight Bias. It’s so easy to see where things went wrong after the fact, but we often go into relationships thinking 'it won’t happen to me.' A friend of mine ignored many red flags early in his relationship, thinking everything would be fine, only to face similar legal complications years later. Your video really brings home the point that we need to be more informed and cautious upfront, instead of assuming everything will work out just because we want it to.
