Oh thanks a lot for that comment. well, it is, and it is not easy at the same time hehe. I think thats the key, time, and practice. When Im using zbrush and then I have to go to maya Im like,,, what??? im completely lost. haha. but don´t worry, keep working, testing, practicing, thats the key. believe me. Soon I´ll post the second part about this tutorial on zbrush and the last one is all about composing the render in photoshop.

I swear I never imagined that the zrmesher brush tool worked like this, I tried it with simpler models, and it organizes everything. very good info jay !!! omg you are the boss!! thanks so, so, so, much. You have no idea how much you have helped me with that info bro. and, 11:03 those images are amazing, I want to see what's next !!!! The hand, the teeth, they look great. I want to see more and more! haha, do I sound very desperate ?. btw, why slimer? is a crazy character to do, not because is hard, but is for real a good choice. is fun, everybody knows it, for real. thumbs up on this. haha ok let see, yes, zremesher is an amzing tool. guiding the polygons with the lines is great sometimes. it really helps. I use it mostly on the face area, but yeah also on the body sometimes. always at the beginning. Im glad that this helped bro. for real. and i found great that you work with zbrush too bro. So to answer your question, Idk, When I thought about which character to base me on to create a tutorial, I thought about something simple. with no hair, or clothes. and one day I was walking on the street and there I saw him lol. and I thought, oh yeah, that's a cool character. Slimer is a nice guy, so, I thought it would be a good idea to give him a creepy touch. plus he's not a very used character, that's how I chose him. once again thanks Mr Creed.

Heyyy Tiana, so long!!!. how are ya. thanks a lot for your words. 😃😃😃 you are the best. Yes you can make posters. actually, I worked this on A3 so I can print it later for Tshirts. But once you have it on A3, yeah you can work it out. I´m gonna post 2 more videos about this tutorial. and the final one is about photoshop and how to prepare the final file if you are interested.

Jay, thanks a lot for this video. I also work with 3D and I´m starting with zbrush, so this is amazing. I´m actually working on a troll, so thanks a lot for all this tips. I like how you talk and explain things step by step and at the same time you give little tips. these videos are worth gold. I had idea of some things about zbrush, but now Im following these steps and it is working. Mainly about the typology. I hate having to watch 1 hour videos to learn something hehe. Thank you so much. I am an interface freak haha. I adapt them whenever I can. or I change the color. it depends on what i'm working on. If it helps, yeah, sure, do it!!. it helps a lot.

I usually work with Max, and I tried some maya for sculpting, but this is sick. You can get amazing results super fast. Those brushes are another level. Now I understand why they say that zbrush is one of the best for sculpting. Also the painting info is new to me. Bro I loved that part. The maps are great but this is more like painting in photoshop. Can you work models for printing on zbrush?

Hi Mike, thanks a lot for that comment bro!! I actually work a lot with maya too. But for sculpting things like this zbrush is an amazing tool. The painting is great!!, as an illustrator I love that tool hehe. and yes to answer your question, you can work your models for printing. actually I use zbrush to create the ztl files. so yeah, if i you wanna try it, you won´t regret it. In the next few days I´ll post the 2th and the last part of this tutorial.

@@JayBlackCult so true. I've tried blender but is like..idk. everybody says that if u wanna really sculpt u have to go with zbrush. So I'm gonna try it then.and if it works for 3d printing, yesss 10 points. Thanks a lot man

blender is a great tool for sure. Even I´d love to use it for some projects. but Im already into Maya and Zbrush. If you really, like reeeeeally want to go deep into sculpting, zbrush is the best way to go. if you want a tool to use a little bit of everything, fast and easy, blender. is like the new fight, blender vs zbrush hehe.
