i am planning on doing the same build in my 1995 impreza wagon and i was wondering if you could give me some pointers to get me through the swap. i am truly having some trouble finding an eg33

+jacob christensen The hardest parts of this swap is getting a radiator to fit, building the exhaust, and wiring obviously. Other than that, it pretty much bolts right in because subarus are cool like that. Finding an eg33 though.. not easy. i wish i could help with that one. If you need any other help just ask! +Matt Tascarella I've actually found an eg33 for $800, it's actually 2 SVXs one drivable and the other for parts. Have any recommendations for making the radiator fit?

+jacob christensen mine has the core support bumper cut out and then rewelded some 1-inch square tubing a couple inches further forward than stock. other options are to mount it at an angle (v-mount) or get a half size radiator from a Honda or something. the way I have it set up I also have two electric fans on the front side of the radiator. it stays very cool, withstanding plenty of Autocross and consecutive runs and abuse

+jacob christensen it works great for me. been daily driving my car for over a year now with zero issues. obviously do it at your own discretion, as cutting apart the crash beam and bumper negatively effects the safety aspects of the car

Impreza with a swapped in EG33 ? Yeah umm its probably quick as shit . probably around 2200 lbs with a 6 cylinder motor ....

a 95? more like 3000lbs with the H6 swap, if you strip everything out of it 2800 or so. You'd have to go tube chassis to get a H6 AWD car down to 2200.
