I think something interesting about this island is the fact that the map actually has minimal terraforming. Most of it is simple shapes in the upper hemisphere and yet everything is so meticulously placed and rounded out that it feels like there's more of it. There's hardly any third-tiers on that map which saves a lot space for decorations and other forms of space manipulation. The most noticeable eye catching strategies implemented here are the framing of objects with various vegetation, smaller cliffs to create the illusion of depth, and carefully embellished paths. I think there are people out there who think that in order to make these super eye-catching islands you have to have super complex terraforming (and while that is a style that works beautifully as well), the reality is you really don't. You've just gotta know where to place what you want to place to create some sort of visual direction.

I was today years old when I learned the museum actually updated. I suppose mine is because it's the lighter color. I don't think you need to worry about being positive about these Islands you tour. You're not over the top and there is no doubt you mean what you say. Most, at least in my opinion, overly gush, it's annoying. I'd guess the owners of the Islands can't tell if they're being genuine or not. - Lovely Island. I like this sort of look the best. Another for me to be jealous of.

Items can be placed in the squares directly next to the square that the tree trunk occupies. Tall items will clip the tree leaves because they extend past the trunk square.

I have 0 clue how people even spend that much time on one island, my best island so far took me 145 hours and it was pretty intricate. Idk if that's just a sideaffect of me doing it all within a span of like 2 months so the idea was always relatively fresh but I genuinely don't understand what could take 600 hours. Crazy good build but 600 hours is insane to me. Also I like that they left the beaches mostly bare, I just don't like how the beaches look I prefer the feeling of being on some huge island and only having access to part of it rather than feeling like you're on a tiny island, so I usually make my beaches entirely inaccessible.

@spencerstmars4882 I’ve only just seen this video today and noticed no one had replied to you. The trees take 4 days to fully grow. After day 1, from day 2 - day 3, if you like the size of the tree, simply plant any fruit behind it and it won’t grow any bigger. It must be a fruit and it must be planted behind it. If you want to move the tree, dig it up and the planted fruit, place the tree where you want it and plant the fruit behind it again otherwise it will grow. Hope this helps and isn’t too late, you probably already know by now. ❤
