I went 40 hours on my stock suspension, and it was feeling significantly worse by that point, very noticeable degradation. I had custom suspension done (which is amazing) and the shop said 25 hour service intervals for the mixed, mid-level riding we do. Also recommended genuine KYB fluid only (yes, for WP suspension).

Dang, a suspension service every 25 hours would be expensive! Each shop is going to have a different opinion on oil brands I find.

40 is about the max for me. When you start feeling the need to dial in the clickers the oil is definitely smoked!

Hey Greg, another great video. So how nimble is that bike ? Also, as I an recovering from shoulder surgery and watching lots of videos, I discovered you previously did racing videos…. Looks like your last was in 2018 …. Did u stop racing or just stopped recording your racing videos ?

The bike is amazing, I love the handling. Yes, I stopped racing back then. For me it just seemed like I was always going to the same places and riding/racing the same trails. I’d much rather spend my time going to new spots and riding a full day. My last race I sat in a bottleneck for 15 minutes at the start of the race. That’s just not any fun to me. Shoulder pain is the worst, hope the healing goes well.
