My take on it was she was battling her demons face on after falling into the dark side of Hollywood lifestyle. Unfortunately, her demon took over and was too strong when anyone would goad her (as you could see they'd intentionally do in the first place). She destroyed every relationship with every person she met and it all was still just for entertainment thru the camera's eye. She ended up not being able to fight it off and ultimately her demons and shame destroyed her for good. That's my rough thought process. First take on deciphering it. As I digest the episode longer it may become more streamlined and thought out.
@bd104311 ай бұрын
I just commented the EXACT same thing!!!! This should not have been a black mirror episode. Probably fits on love death and robots under maybe both love and death? But certainly nothing to do with black mirror AT ALL. I mean, the earlier seasons were a mix of Boston dynamics, technology that uses sentient copies of people’s consciousness, social credits on social media. Those were the days 😢
@the_nikster111 ай бұрын
@@bd1043right. and the first episode was about a Prime Minister fucking a pig and had nothing to do with futuristic technology. I swear, it’s like people forgot the first episode entirely. it was never about technology but about turning a mirror on society and humanity. your own television screen/laptop screen/tablet screen that you use to watch the show is the black mirror. it’s always been about social commentary first.

Black mirrors are referenced in the Bible The Bible is one big metaphor. Black mirrors are talked about as mirrors with "demons" inside, but the metaphor is about the 7 deadly sins *(pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth)* becoming more and more prominent as technology advances. 1 Cornithians 13:12 For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a dark reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. This basically states as long as we see "dimly" in a mirror we are lost in sin, but when the time of perfection comes (I'm assuming this means judgement day) we will be fully known by God.

@@antepa112 I didn't say God lol, I said the BIBLE. The Bible is a book, not God. And If its not in reference to religion, then why is only the Devil and Hell heavily refrenced throughout the series? The show is influenced by the Bible, and portrays one big metaphor regarding corruption just like the Bible. The Bible even has similar story lines ending with the same consequences. Instead of being biased, maybe look deeper into the reasoning. "Sin" meaning a corruption of. I'm not here saying everyone has to praise god, I'm here saying that this show is influenced by a a book. It's not personal, it's just what it is.

In the early 90s, there were a lot of paranormal shows and stuff, and some supposed future-tellers used black mirrors to see into the future. I believed that was the reason. This makes sense (what they're saying), but I think there's still something to the gazing into the future through a black mirror thing, most likely (they literally called them black mirrors).

I love Demon 79. It had an unlikely character Nida trying to save the world with the help of a demon that is a demon in training. It also has moments where one can think about the question of whether or not, despite all the knowledge, would anyone kill someone who is totally evil. Not only one but three people in three days before a specific day. The cast was great and the look was reminiscent of 1979.

Each episode is a self contained story on its own so watching them out of order doesn’t really matter. I found this show and been hooked ever since. The first episode I seen was from the new season 6 and it was the one with Salma Hayek and the astronaut one. There’s like 3 to 5 episodes a season and they’re basically short movies. It’s kinda like that love death and robots in a way. I only watch 3 episodes and every episode I seen was pretty dam good. The Miley Cyrus, Ashley O episode was good too. Anyway it’s so far a pretty good show.
