Qualifications of Mashiach: 1. He will descend from the line of David (through King Solomon). His father will actually be from King David’s lineage. So a miraculous virgin birth does not count. 2. He will bring the Jewish people back to the land of Israel 3. He will build the third temple 4. He will compel all of Israel to walk in the ways of G-d 5. He will fight the wars of G-d (to restore Jewish sovereignty over the land of Israel and implement Torah law) 6. He will teach Torah to the world 7. He will bring peace to the world 8. There is NO second coming. This is not a Torah concept, but a Christian one. If he does ALL OF THIS and is successful then he is certainly Mashiach. If one fails to do at least one of these, he CANNOT and IS NOT the Mashiach.

Explain this. How do those who follow rabbinic Judaism get forgiveness of sins today? The Judaism you follow IS NOT the same as it was 2000 years ago. You have no temple. You have no ark of the covenant. You have no priesthood. How are you getting forgiveness of sins today? Yeshua predicted the destruction of the second temple. His sacrifice was the final sacrifice for sins. Zechariah 9:11 As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

In my case it was mainly the fact that i did not find the whole idea of saints and praying to them reasonable. I was always wondering why Hashem is not the center of the christian faith (because of saints, Jesus, etc. Let's not focus on that). I was born in a Catholic family and i don't have anything against the Christianity, I just figured out that this exact path is not for me after few years of internal battle with my own identity whether im religious or not. To conclude, I just want to say that i choose a path of becoming Jewish and every possible thing on earth shows me that Hashem is pushing me into his arms and is helping me gaining knowledge necesarry for a succesfull conversion. I wish you all the best, don't stop doing these videos. Greetings from Poland :)

@@phillipgrey Thanks for your comment, brother. Well, I wouldn't paint with such a broad brush when talking about the problems of Christianity, because not everything is ever so black vs. white. For instance, there are many different types of Christians from many different parts of the world and walks of life the same way there are many different types of Jews of varying persuasions. Finally, HaShem is the Divine Creator of Order and Diversity, so to throw all the Christians out with the dirty bath water is not the greatest idea when pursuing Truth and Freedom for all Mankind. Anyway, I'm not here to argue, I'm here to promote G-d and the Bible. To understand others and, HaShem willing, to be understood. Shalom Aleichem.

I’m not sure it doesn’t work. For you, it didn’t ring true, and you found what is working for you. I think Christianity is it’s own separate thing. It’s divisive and it challenges people to dismiss learning, but to blindly accept the messaging. As Jews, we are always inspiring people to seek out learning, knowledge for its own sake. We are obligated to ask questions and to challenge the book, with our hunger for learning. You found your best place. We are so excited for you and your family, we welcome you.

On the other hand a Full orthodox conversion in which Lev is in the process of doing, is completely different, this is too fully accepting the full Torah With all additional 613 Mitzvahs, which you will then be obligated to do in order to go to heaven, This conversion is extremely difficult to go through. There are two things to note: first, belief in G-d is a matter of faith; it can’t be proven and all the philosophical proofs of his existence fail on this point because religion is about faith. Second, the notion of one G-d is ultimately rooted in the idea of justice. You can have multiple gods for every other aspect of life about which people can have different opinions but justice demands a single standard. Monotheism aa a principle Is based upon it.

Judaism is a big step and one that many nations did reject. So singing it make it easier to remember the thirteen principles. On the other hand there are other rabbis that say that the whole torah is principles and that it is not wise to concentrate only on the thirteen. Shalom

So interesting video! I am a Christian and i agree unfortunately a lot of Churches are corrupt especially here in the Netherlands! But a question i have i seen a lot of Orthodox Jews pray to a certain Rabbi, even with the picture and all, and writing notes and even asking for things and placing this at the grave at this certain Rabbi they follow, i was shocked 😳 but unfortunately i think even with every religion we have people who make own customs who do not represent our faith! I am still waiting for my first biblical holiday so for me it is still very strange, because I am so used to the pagan ones 😂

I'm going to try and answer this. I belonged to a conservative synagogue and we prayed along with our rabbi. He led us in prayer. In many Hassidic communities they have rabbinic dynasties where their Rebbes have been leaders for many generations. A Rebbe is like an overall leader. They still have Rabbis for each geographic congregation. It looks like they are praying to the Rebbe but I am under the impression they are praying for his health and for him to pray to god for them. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

It was likely chabad lubavitch sect of hasidic Judaism you saw. Many of the followers believe that their rabbi is the messiah. And as in many hasidic communities the leader called a rebbe is used as a "good lawyer " to help one's prayers to be accepted by God. Maimonedes did not agree with this approach although other rabbis felt it was ok.

Read for TRUTH! This is why Christianity *does* work. However, feel free to leave comments, questions, concerns, and/or smart remarks Before watching this video, I think the viewer should know that this video would be more appropriately titled, "This is why Christianity didn't work *for us*". Of course, I have great respect for the House of Lev. However, a lot of their convictions seem to be based on what "makes sense" rather than Torah, itself. It seems that everything in the 13 principles hangs on the second claim, "I believe by complete faith that the Creator... is a Unity, and there is no union in any way like Him. He alone is our God, who was, who is, and who is to be," so I will focus on that point. Rambam's teaching of God's "Unity" is meant to contrast the Christian claim that God is a "Trinity" or "Tri-Unity" (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit). But ultimately, Rambam's principles are not Torah; they are made to "summarize" Torah. However, I believe that his principles fall apart when you actually read the Torah. And if you're willing, I'd like to point to how Jesus fulfills and completes our understanding of the Law. Rambam's claim breaks down in the very first chapter of the Torah. I'll break it down in three points: 1) G-d's name is *plural*, not singular. I am NOT suggesting that there is more than one G-d. However, consider that Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, G-d created the heavens and the earth." The Hebrew word from which we get the name "G-d" is "Elohim". But "Elohim" is not a singular noun; it is actually the plural form of the word "Eloah". How is it that the writer of Genesis (presumably, Moses) saw the creation of the world and identified a singular Creator by the plural name "Elohim"? 2) Well, if we go further down, this wording was obviously intentional because G-d in Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man in *our* image, after *our* likeness." This means that there is more than one person acting in Creation, and these distinct "persons" made mankind in their image. But if we know that God is one (according to Deuteronomy 6:4), how could God exist as multiple "persons"? 3) The answer comes Jesus! One of Jesus's disciples, John, recognizes this complex in Genesis, and in acknowledging Jesus's authority and divinity, he wrote, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3) The "Word" John refers to is Jesus. Jesus is the same Creator that we see in Genesis 1. It is the Son who made all things with his Father, and it is he who spoke with his Father, "let us make man in *our* image." There are countless other places in the Torah that point to Jesus, as well, but to put it simply, Jesus is the eternal Creator of all things alongside his Father. The Son came down to dwell among humanity and to be a perfect, atoning sacrifice for our sins. Unless we accept Jesus as the only Son of God, God will not pardon any of our transgressions. If we reject the Son, we reject the Father. To the House of Lev, I propose to you that there is an empty tomb in Jerusalem where God's Son was raised from the dead. And because of this, Jesus is now seated at the right hand of Majesty in heaven. I respect that you're both on a journey, but I pray earnestly that this journey leads you to knowing and loving Jesus. Wow. Well... if you read this all the way through, you're crazy! Thanks for taking the time to read through this. Feel free to leave comments, questions, concerns, and/or smart remarks

@@seriouslyiknowhowtoread Hmm... I think there's a disconnect between what I'm saying and what you might be reading. My original comment was pointing to the nature of God and how he's revealed in Scripture. If Jesus was just a man, I wouldn't worship him. But because he is also fully God (meaning that he shares the same divine nature as the Father and Holy Spirit), he is worthy of praise, glory, and honor. After all, didn't the prophet Daniel see a "son of man" in his night visions receiving worship and glory? In Daniel 7:13-14, the prophet said that he saw one like a "son of man" come before the Ancient of Days (God) to receive "dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him." I'm not suggesting the worship of a man rather than God. That's crazy! I am saying that we worship the *Son of Man*, Jesus, who IS God.

My friends, it's not Scripture, it shouldn't be taken as the word of God. That was written specifically by someone in opposition to the Gospel, that's clearly the reference. So keep that in mind when choosing what to believe (nothing extra) or who to stand by (my advice is no one, God Himself is humble), it's just a man you're idolizing as something more than he could be. Honestly I'm a little put off by the man's audacity to state these statements meant for others to take an oath by, when he is not God. Who does he think he is to add to God's word, write his own "scripture" poetry points and ask that people affirm it for themselves, that is literally only for God to do, not his place to make up. (And it's riding on ritual--which if not from the Most High is not kosher.) Anything added like this is idolatry, and I'd much rather be reading God's beautiful living Word than this guy's repetitive indoctrinations against the Son. Reading or reciting what's real, over some man's bs, in place of my God's Word and holy prayers חס ושלום. If you want to meditate on anything, meditate on His word day and night, and you shall not want. He truly gave us Everything Himself. Bless. 13And the Lord cut off from Israel head and tail, palm branch and reed in one day. 14The old and honored are the head, while the prophets teaching lies are the tail. 15For those leading this people lead them astray, and those led by them are destroyed. טווַיִּֽהְי֛וּ מְאַשְּׁרֵ֥י הָֽעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה מַתְעִ֑ים וּמְאֻשָּׁרָ֖יו מְבֻלָּעִֽים: Matthew 23:13,15 (Complete Jewish Bible) "But woe to you hypocritical Torah teachers and P'rushim! Its not about Christianity but the truth. Open your eyes! Jesus is the way the truth and the life not religion! These principles that you believe in. All it does is diminishes who God is. The bible states that Jesus was the word and was God, and he became flesh. The meaning of became is basically metomorphing into. He wasn't originally human he "became" human. But he was always a spirit and God, he always existed, he became and he is also the beginning and the end. God can do anything he wants. He is the great I Am. I think that's where u r in error. I think most judaistic and islamic religions blatantly deny this fact that God became flesh to justify that he still isn't God because they can't accept that he transformed into man but was always God. However, Jesus is no longer flesh. He's God in heaven. I don't understand why no one accepts this when it is clearly written into the scriptures. This is why the romans beat him and the jews gave him over because they believed he was just a man and mocked him because they couldnt accept him as God. Jesus told them he will be resurrected back to the father sitting at the right hand with great glory! Fyi: Guys read acts 2:17 where in the last days God will give dreams and visions. If u look here on youtube people have been getting dreams of Jesus's second return and to repent and believe unto him. U cannot get to heaven without him. Im telling u the truth. Plz go and check right now to see if im lying. Jesus is sending dreams to muslims as well as we speak. Seek the Lord, seek the truth and he will set u free. Jesus says hes coming soon to get his bride and there will be great tribulation. The end is near.

I'm curious. If God is an all powerful being, why would being a physical being be an issue for him? Surely if he is God, the laws of physics don't apply to him and therefore he can be both physical and eternal. If he cannot be both then what sort of God is he that has limitations and is bound by his own creation? Also, when God creates man, he says "Let *us* make man in our own image"..who is the "us"?

I not sure that He can’t technically express Himself physically. In response to your second question Rashi explains that G-d showed us His own humility. He was creating man in His own image which would cause jealousy from the angels so He inquired from them so to speak if He could proceed with the making of man. Rashi cont. even though G-d knew that this would leave room for some to doubt in His ability He considered the lesson of Humility, the lesson that the greater person should always ask counsel and permission from those of lesser status, greater. If you cont. along to the next verse it the says ‘Vayivra’ which translates to and He created in singular form.

Hello James! Thanks for your question. The idea should only be questioned when the person is looking for answers. If a person isn't looking for answers, then there is no need to question the idea. Most believers of Jesus are very happy and content where they. And that's great for them! When it comes to a persons spiritual walk, everything should be questioned. We questioned different things within Judaism. Once we got the answers, they were satisfying for us, and that became our truth. This is exactly why we don't argue with people. Their religious beliefs are "TRUTH" to them. The same for us. We have love and respect for everyone and their spiritual walk. So, the moment one has a question, they should search to find the answers!

We do bow to God. There are many many times during prayer that we bow. Throughout a service, we bow. We do a full bow, starting in the standing position, then bending knees and then fully bowing 😊 Full body bows. On Yom Kippur, we bow fully, with knees on the floor as well. Bowing is done at specific prayers and parts of the service, including His name. Also, I can ask you the question - when and why did kneeling start?? Because I think it's not from doctrine, but from a practice that was started later... but im not fully sure. Maybe you know?

@@user_mll374 I’m not sure when the kneeling started it’s a good question. However so in Judaism if I’m to understand you do bend on knees like Christian’s ? It’s interesting that in some prayers you do that’s interesting.

@@ScenariosOfDrea When I say "bow", I mean standing and bowing at the waist. Kneeling to me is remaining on your knees for a long time. Jewish prayer services can last for hours. So, staying on your knees for hours could be very difficult...lol There are different Jewish synagogues and sects. It depends which one you were in. It should be a full bow, like you're looking at the floor. Maybe some people do it in a smaller way, but everyone knows it is meant to be a bow. The floor bow is only on the High Holidays. Also, whenever the arc with the Torah is open, we MUST stand. We have to stand at certain parts of prayer services as well. Standing is also a way to give respect. So, its a mix. I hope this helps!? 😊

Daniel 7:13-14- “As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language worshiped him. His rule is eternal-it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.” Daniel is seeing someone like a son of man but this person is not just a son of man. This son of man has authority and sovereignty over everything no human being is given that power this person is just not a human. Matthew 24:30-At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.Matthew 26:64-"You have said it yourself," Jesus answered. "But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." Jesus is repeating what Daniel saw. Jesus is saying that is him he has all power and glory. Jesus had two natures fully God and human. Matthew also says that Jesus came to fulfill the prophecy in Isaiah concerning the Servant whom Yahweh raises up for himself to bring about the salvation of his people:Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill. He warned them not to tell others about him. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: will proclaim justice to the nations. 'Here is MY SERVANT whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.'" Matthew 12:15-21.These texts show that Jesus was functioning in the role of a servant/slave while he was on earth, and therefore wasn't exercising his royal authority but set it aside for a period of time. Hebrews 2:5-8 Jesus lowered himself lower than the angels but in John 17:5 Jesus had the same glory as the father before the world began. Before Jesus was in the flesh he had the same glory but lowered himself to pay the price of sin which is death. That’s why it was given to him he lowered himself that’s why the person like a son of man is given those things but he is not only a son of man.

He uses proofs from the Torah itself, to show that it’s incompatible, and even points out many intentional omissions and mistranslations in the New Testament. Definitely check him out! Also, the Rambam (A.K.A. Maimonides) didn’t just come up with this stuff on his own. He compiled existing ideas from scripture and organized them into a comprehensive list. I hope that was helpful.

Isaiah 59:16 “And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.” God said his arm brought salvation and was an intercessor because no human could do so. We know the person who brings salvation and is a intercessor is not human. Is your arm not apart of u? So God sent someone who is apart of him. Romans 8:34 says that Jesus “is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” Acts 16:31-And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

You are reading Tanakh with Christian glasses There is no Christianity in it you are injecting it. If you don’t know Hebrew, Aramaic, the Oral Torah and without proper Torah teachings There is no way for you to understand the old testament

I always heard that you can not convert to Judaism. You have to be a born of an Israeli mother to be a Jew.

Not true. Ruth wasn’t born to a Jewish mother. Batyah wasn’t born of a Jewish mother. In fact the prophet Obadiah, was an Edomite who converted!
