It’s not always a bad thing. I know Allah has saved me from a potential bad marriage many times. In particular I’ve only loved 1 man in my life so far. And we have mutuals. And I know his marriage is bad. Today I’m grateful I’m not in that marriage. Allah has saved me from the red flags and things I did not see.

These are some very good points. I wanted to chime in with a couple add a couple points. Regarding confidence, it’s worth noting this is best coupled with humility, so that it doesn’t fall into the realm of arrogance. Some people might mistake being confident for being loud and argumentative, when really it means to be principled and aware and proud of one’s own identity. As for attraction I noticed in speaking with Muslim men, the cycle is they go though is this: 1. The face: If the face is good, then the next thing they move onto is the dress. Different men like different faces, so there is rarely going to be a woman who is “universally ugly”) 2. The Dress: Generally, Muslim men prefer modesty, but the point here is that even with a “pretty face”, dressing with a lack of modesty is enough for a many Muslim men to think “I don’t want my children raised by this woman” 3. If the face and the dress are good, the final thing is her mindset (which is indicated as soon as she opens her mouth), even the “prettiest” and most “well dressed” woman can be struck off, if it appears that she is arrogant/lacks humility. But as I said before, humility is not the same as timidity. You can be outgoing and still be humble. You can be quiet and still be confident. All round great video, even though I know it’s not made for me 😅

Luckily that's never happened to me come to think I had good proposals back in the day. But I once dumped who was emotionally unstable man - yes emotional and mental stability is important. Don't underestimate mental health, as a result women end up marrying emotionally and mentally unstable men, unfortunately looks matter too much culturally is well! Yes marriage is never easy but miss those times now.... But I know someone who it has happened to he left her for another- but she's to blame. Her behaviour towards him was disrespectful, rude, mean and feministi plus too blunt! She can't get over the rejection till this day. I've decided to distance limit my time with her, as she has become to gossipy and bitter now never taking any responsibility. Important to be around positive people in the deen.
