As someone who lived in a domestic violence shelter as a child, you don't know how much joy this fills me with. Many people don't think of makeup as a necessity, but when you have been told by an abusive partner for years that you're ugly, something as simple as a little tube of pretty pink lipstick can help to rebuild your self confidence, self confidence is a necessity in rebuilding a new life.

This charity was in touch with me when I was going to court against my ex. They were lovely I had a person that used to call me twice a week and honestly just talking to someone while everything was so scary and I didn't have confidence in justice. Thank you so much to everyone who works or volunteers here. I don't know what I would have done without them💜

Exactly that was an amazing thing she did I love how she uses her platform to inspire so many!! She is a beautiful soul I am living for her videos a lot of her videos got me through some deep depression honestly!! I had 4 back surgeries last year and I was in the hospital all of last year trying to recover as much as I can and when I came across her videos and her channel I stopped worrying about so much things and I'm so grateful for influencers like this!!! @@jazzyBaby0107 it wasn't her direct that was in contact, it was someone from like a woman's aid charity where they have you normally meet a worker but due to covid it was phone check ins, it was so help full, and the number was available to call whenever I needed someone to talk to or cry to or rant to! I'm so thankful, I honestly wish there were more people like the people who take they're time out to work with someone helping them rebuild they're lives💜

Taylor Wynn has worked with Beauty share for many yrs doing this exact thing. Before covid hit she once a yr did 15 days of foundation and tried a new foundation every day. She raised money, had an auction, and she donated all her unopened as well as some opened make up to their shelter. They have a program that allows gently used make up to be sanitized and reused. I'm not sure about now with covid. But project beauty share is amazing and so is Taylor Wynn. This woman in the video is also amazing for doing this for these amazing strong woman!

When I lived in a shelter with my infant a group came by and brought us make up, fruits, and diapers and clothes. Things like this mean so much as you obviously know! ❤❤❤

This just made me love you so much more! I left my ex husband after twenty years of abuse with our four children to a shelter. We had nothing. But nothing was better than dead. It's been six years. I still struggle but we are safe and happier. I always donate what I can't to the shelter that saved me. Shout-out to Avalon Center in Crossville Tennessee

OMG this is the best way to giveback. 😍😍😍😍 I ran a womans recovery group before Covid happen and I would do monthly goodie bags filled with hygiene stuff, makeup, and skin care. Also all my friends, family and church family would donate gently used clothes and I would wash and sanitize them and I would bless them with clothing. The look on their faces was so worth it. Now I still get goodie bags together for them and i also hand them out to the homeless. Thank you for being such a humble and good hearted person. Now in days people would rather throw their things away than to bless someone else. This was awesome to see

I do this with the kids at my son's school for holidays, they love getting a candy bag, a little stocking & Easter baskets. Being the School is a Title 1 school its considered low income. I just love seeing their faces light up when they receive it. I call them my Babies all 350 of them...

For example give to a homeless shelter/people, or setup some place homeless people could come and apply make up (just because I don't know how much storage space homeless people have, and how safe their belongings are). Homeless people love makeup, cosmetics and toiletries too. They could even maybe come to this place to get ready for a job interview or something like that.
