Thank you for this video, I just purchased this model and will be using it today! Previously, I was using an All American Electric Sterilizer. It was great for a while but then I started having major contamination issues with my grain. I wonder if you used that model and if you have had similar problems? I think it needs to be re-calibrated or something but I haven't been able to figure that out. Looking forward to using the Presto because of the benefits you described here. :)

Hello, I used that model, and although I did not counter-contamination with All Americans, I've had issues with pressure gauges a lot! Presto is very straightforward, and the only thing you need to do is to change the plastic gasket from time to time. Thank you for writing to us :)

i have the same hotplate and its taking too long to heat up with 4 x 5lb bags of substrate in it. whats wrong?

I put three quarts of water in but my bags are now in the water a little. is that normal?

I would try to put less water, excessive water might fill in your bags if it touches them.
