Don't think anyone can forget the first time they walked into Lyndell. Seeing that giant dragon in the background and the music. Then you realise you can go everywhere you can see.

The music helps as well, add that to the fact that just a second ago your companion left you and now here you are all alone navigating what was once the great capital...its almost the end of the journey.

Which companion? Melina?
@thatdudemetro6271Ай бұрын
@@ADcrackerjack Yes, despite her limited interaction and imo a bit anti climatic sacrifice she was still something like a firekeeper to us...we really got demon souled.

If you progress Gold Masks quest to where he goes to Leyndell and you warp to the Erdtree Sanctuary grace, you can see him just standing there pointing from a mile away, a tiny spec. I just think its the most beautiful moment of the game.

I love the oracles with the trumpets heralding in a new age as you enter, this ruined city that was once the height of royalty now lies in ashes and stagnated, it was powerful the first time I entered the city

Lyndell has some great visual story telling. From far away, it looks like a beautiful golden palace representing the Golden Order. However, then you see its been mostly abandoned, leaving only some monsters and a handful of soilders. Then you have the sewers where the omens were cast away, and Morgort, who was denied his right to the throne because of his appearance. In short, it looks pretty, but it has some dark secrets.

What a game, man. The DLC just inspired me to play it all over again from the start with an entirely different build. Never tried focusing on a faith build before.

Elden Ring is the pinnacle of Adventure games; the landscapes, the music, the lore, the gameplay, this is art.

Leyndell is definitely the most beautiful place in Elden Ring. The colors. The design. The MUSIC!!! Everything about Leyndell is both beautiful and sad. Seeing the capital in ruins while listening to the sad music of Leyndell is just pure perfection.

Albinauric Village had perfumer who was also playing flute under a tree. They patched it out but it's was really cool to have random enemy like this.

When you realize that when you enter the city you enter through a makeshift hospital treating people injured during the war. You just killed the nurses and committed some war crimes.

It actually baffles me that there are people that use literally nothing in their off-hand. Even if you're two-handing, something like the Sacrificial Axe would be a good choice.

It works fine, no reason to get fancy when everything in the game will die if you hit them enough times.
@L1v1ngDeAdGirlАй бұрын
@@fourthspartan5654 It's literally no extra work. Off handing an item that has a passive effect takes no extra steps. It's not exactly about "just hitting it til it dies", that logic could be used for anything.

I think it’s super funny when people make fun of Skyrim for having a loading screen when you go in and out of buildings… Saying CDProjektRED did it better with Witcher and CyberPUNK allowing you to move freely in and out of buildings… And lastly there’s Elden Ring brought to us by FROMSOFTWARE that’s like… “what’s a door?” Game of the Year though, right?
@antipromanfernavit2625 күн бұрын
more like whats a loading screen and every souls like game is like that
@poekeyhoitz523325 күн бұрын
@@antipromanfernavit26 All Souls games have loading screens… And I’m not talking a basic loading screen or fast travel or when you die… Have you ever played a really old game that had a loading screen that was so long they put a mini game in the loading screen? That’s essentially what FROMSOFTWARE did but people like you are too stupid to notice… Elevators in a FROMSOFTWARE game is a loading screen It’s just a playable loading screen
