We actually have that same tent. If you live in the Valley in California, try camping at Kennedy Meadows sometime. It has horse rides, a camp store where you can buy junk food or whatever nearby, full camper hook up, a river to fish at, and sprawling beautiful meadow. Not a lot of people go up there but it's a really nice place.

The spring water itself is nice and blue but when it joins the rest of the river it turns a nasty reddish brown color. I've always heard its because of the trees but theres also a lot of clay in this area it might be that.

It's such a peaceful and tranquil experience. I go with a friend every now and then but prefer go camp alone. Everyone should do it once. But going alone It gives you time to just settle on your thoughts and the environment is so nice to go with it. I'll bring my dog along and my .44 just in case of bears and shit and well yes go out a 2 hour drive into the mountains and then 2 miles in the middle of the forest all alone and when nightfall hits your going to get a bit freaked. I think that's hardwired in our fucking system as a species. But Mr. .44 and my pitbul make me feel at ease at night.
