I’m an Aussie guy, have zero interest in basketball (let alone women’s basketball) and yet I find this Caitlin Clarke incredible to watch. She just look so much more at ease with everything she does on the court and I can see why the current ‘lot’ don’t like her. She’s making them work for their money which I’m guessing they’re not used to.. You can only complain about not getting paid as much as the guys for so long before you have to show why you should be paid more !! This is definitely one of the best summaries of her contributions, achievements, and abilities I’ve seen. Thanks👍

husband speaking age 81.5 I never followed BB games, even in college I wouldn't even go to our schools games. Never even thought of following women's games, even the Seattle Storm which is local. But the news on CC has me watching the highlights of the games. She is super and doesn't hog the ball but is willing to always pass to a team player. Will I ever go to a game, NO, but will follow her on youtube. She has such amazing eyesight to know the weight of the ball and just how much strength to use to sink the shot. Amazing.

Not saying Steph Curry is the GOAT of the NBA, but he has always been my favorite player of all time. Since I've been following Caitlyn throughout her college career I'd say yes, she is the female counter part of SC. It's not just the way they play ball, I love their classy and likable personalities. Most of all, they don't need to talk all that smack to get attention.

@@AntoineWilliams7118 Nah, I don't think Caitlyn would be insulted when being compared to Steph Curry, because she is way too intelligent and realistic, which is way more than I can say about you, based on the bold claims that you posted all over the comments. Do you really think the stats that she produced so far in the WNBA would be the same or better if she hypothetically played in the NBA? Or vice versa, if Steph Curry hypothetically played in the WNBA? Let these questions sink in before you say something else crazy. I'm a Caitlyn fan which I stated in my original post, but I don't share your delusion that she's better than Steph Curry, instead I stated that she is the female counterpart. Caitlin Clark is the best player in WNBA right now, she does everything like passing from full court to mid court or behind the back… so fun to watch those magical passes. Shooting from downtown, yes she missed at times but that’s normal. Still she is the best and amazing shooter. And she moves ball while looking to her free teammates. She got a very high IQ in basketball. Now I love watching Fever games because of Caitlin Clark 🎉🎉🎉

That's just not defendable!" 😕... even before she realizes whether the basket is good or not. And of course, the shot is soooo good. The CC Effect = Call it Curry Class, call it The Clark 3, etc. She definitely has, and is, making such a humongous impact in the WNBA, one that goes beyond her beautiful scoring skills, passing / assists. It's her OVERALL influence for the improvement and enhancement of the entire league. And [off topic] T H A T 'S why she is the 2024 ROY. No questions asked. 😉

I'll admit that I don't know a whole lot about the WNBA since I didn't watch a game until I heard buzz about CC in the NCAA 2024 playoffs. But what seems entirely missing from this assessment is CC ability to pass and find assists. Perhaps she isn't the GOAT in these categories, but when you put it all together, i.e. the shooting, the passing, and the assists, CC sure brings some excitement to the WNBA as she did in the NCAA.

To be fair Lexie Brown has come around after playing against Caitlin Clark herself. She was talking crazy leading up to the season for sure though lmao, but she's now given Caitlin her flowers. It looks like Caitlin has the potential to revolutionize the WNBA's style of play similar to how Steph Curry did with the NBA. Her run and gun style of play is not only super entertaining, it's super effective against the slowed down out dated style of basketball the WNBA seems to be stuck in.

Caitlin and Steph had a lot of similarities. Steph is a skinny, wimpy little guard when he's in college, just like Caitlin, but they've shown us the best example of "don't judge a book by its cover." Skinny beats rip bods; that's why they are so mad. I go lift hundreds of weights to play at my highest level, and this skinny little kid just does that to me? My ego hurts through my soul, man! "Lebron". I don't say particularly Lebron, but with his stature, it will hurt if a skinny kid beats you.

One big difference: Steph has shot over 40% from 3 in every season he‘s played except for 1, where he‘s shot 38% (I‘m not counting the season he‘s obly played in 5 games). Keep in mind WNBA shooting is usually worse than NBA shooting. The WNBA expectations for an exceptional FG% is indeed lower than NBA's. How do you know she not athletic....Do you know how fast she can run the 100 meters? High Jump? Throw the shot? Bench Press? Throw the Javlin? These stats have not been made public. Not athletic?... Shes in better shape than 90% of the woman who are bordering on fat in the league.

She should get an award for just being a nice person that has no desire to put people down, always takes the high road . Kind of makes the trash talkers look like idiots. ROTY

People will see in this video that Caitlin Clark could have talk bad about Diane. Caitlin Clark chosen to take high road. Diana really talk bad about Caitlin. It show how great a person that Caitlin Clark is not talk bad back about Diana. That why people like Caitlin Clark because Caitlin Clark doesn't get involved talking bad about people, even when people talking bad about her.

As much as i like Clark and Curry, we should not compare them to each other simply because they play in two totally different leagues.

It's much closer to compare her to Larry Legend because of her impact on viewing. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson saved the NBA in much the same way Caitlin is affecting the WNBA. The only reason I even care about the WNBA is this young lady. It's fair to compare her three shooting to Curry, but her impact on fans and bringing viewers in is more like Bird, Magic , and even Jordan.

Know why Caitlin doesn’t cry baby about getting blindsided by jealous players ? Grew up playing against her brothers and boys so it’s tough to intimidate her . Biggest issue is if she gets injured by some cowardly backside attack from a fellow player . Her teammates need to stop this instantly because it will affect them and their team directly .
