Your supportiveness of your niece just absolutely rules. This is great stuff, man! Awesome that you didn't have to swap the shocks yet on her Sporty to get her to be able to ride it, but I still strongly recommend BETTER shocks at least. The OEM 11.75" shocks on my 2003 were horrendous. Some 12" Street Glide pull-off air shocks were glorious, and way cheaper than some Progressives or the holy grail Bitubos. If you get better front suspension on her Sporty before I get it done to mine, I will be truly ashamed (and very happy for you both)! :D \m/

Love the videos Shadetree! Great to see where the crusty glide is going. I remember when it wasnt lifted and didn't have the touring packs! Its always great to see you building on an FXR, because that's the bike my Pa is building. I haven't seen his bike put together yet, but I bought him his top end seal kit today lol. Snow is approaching us in Canada so I will have to watch your videos to give me my bike fix when I'm not working on my Yammy or Pa's FXR.

The shocks on my Soviet Dnepr MT-11 military sidecar motorcycle are made to be rebuilt. No special tools needed. A rebuild kit is just $5 each and the oil used is 10 weight air compressor oil.
