For anybody curious about the death counter reset, he said in the beginning of the video that he's running on a new PC. Which means a new instance of the server that hosts the game. He was able to carry over the saved game but it seems that the death counter is reset to 0 when the server starts

I'm the kind of person that just never notices graphics/visuals. Lots of people on here saying they noticed the difference before he said it, and even after he said it I'm like "huh?" lol I've even had instances where people are like "Oh my word the Switch version is UNPLAYABLE because of x graphic problem", and I had already 100%ed that very game and not noticed anything. If I watch comparison videos I'm like "Yeah... I kinda see what you mean but 🤷🏻‍♀️" I guess it just affects people differently lol For those of you that like the changes made, I'm happy for you! lol

Damn, you just unlocked a core memory. I think I remember that Milk PSA with SM64 being one of the packed-in commercials on the VHS copy of "Pokemon The First Movie"...I think. Everyone always remembers Bob-Omb Battlefield or Peach's Castle when they think of SM64, which...fair...but because of that Milk PSA, I always remember Wet-Dry World the most. Lol! Okay...I dunno what I was expecting with the title, but I certainly wasn't expecting...that! Although given the game in question, maybe I should have expected that as well as the Not-So-Merry-Go-Round. XD

Oh, yeah, the coffins do hurt when lifting up if you stand where they are lifting up, to, it might be a small space but it does crush you, thats in the basegame as well. Of course, its not as devastating there, youd heal the damage just from the red coins anyways.

it does look good with the settings, except turning-up the brightness for the ghost house also made the carpets in the castle too bright/over-saturated (though it was probably the only way for us to really see what was going on in the ghost house, I would like to see what you saw)

I just plaed through this remake (w/o the hardcore mod) and my god the controls for sm64 are just terrible. I'd say 80% of my deaths were due to trying to turn and doing a big circle instead f just turning in the correct direction.

It was his HDD that died iirc, and programs love placing things in My Documents or App Data on the Windows drive... I assume it's that drive that died.

Not only did his 15 star total increase to 16, but when he checked the star menu, the 100 coin star showed up where it always does, next to the coin total of 101.
