Hi Tyler, this is Silvers from Taiwan. I'm just a random guy passing by and wanted to leave a message for you. I vividly remember, about 10 years ago, the golden era of music KZbin creators, and how I grew up watching your videos. I can’t forget the amazing "I Won’t Give Up" video, "Titanium" with The Piano Guys, "Love The Way You Lie" with Megan, "Rolling in the Deep" with Sam, "Let Her Go", "Hey Jude" with Kurt, and of course, your original "The Hardest Thing". I still listen to these songs A LOT!! Using KZbin or Spotify while driving or reading novels, and they’re still fantastic, even better than many new songs and new covers. I often recommened them to my friends or studnets, they’re classics. The incredible music videos you guys created were huge inspirations to me. So during college, even though I was just a boring guy playing classical piano, I decided to become a music video creator too, just like you guys. I started my own channel SLSMusic, doing piano covers of my favorite songs, and sometime tried to collaborate with vocalists or instrumentalists. I spent time learning how to use video & audio gear, editing videos, doing mixing & mastering, and I pretty enjoyed the process. And now, I have nearly 500k subscribers and have become a well-known pianist in Taiwan (It’s a small country though, I know 🤣). To be honest, I haven’t really watched all the dialogue videos you’ve posted recently, but I’m happy to see some updates from you, and I know that you must have struggled a lot. The internet environment and the platforms are changing rapidly, with the DAxN algorithm, copyright claims, the Shorts, TikToks, even the audience’s changing their viewing habits. I’ve seen many of my favorite channels die (you know what I mean). Some find new ways or new platforms to create content, or successfully switch their careers. Others maybe keep doing what they love (making music videos) until they can’t afford anymore. Facing those digits, those analytics is tough, and TBH I’m still learning how to deal with them healthily without distrubing my mind lol. Hmm, I don’t know why I’m saying all this, lol. I know I’m just a small KZbinr compared to you guys, but I just want you to know that, you and your achievement from the past few years has surely changed many people’s lives, including mine. It really means a lot to me. And the problems you’re facing, you’re surely not alone. Anyway, I’m not sure what you’re going to do in the future, but I wish you the best. I hope you can do whatever you want to do with joy and happiness. Best regards, Silvers.

Lmao at first this came off as funny, but then I realized that this was directed as creative music people who feel like they are held back and don’t let themselves do things because they don’t feel like they’re good enough.

You nailed it Tyler, I made videos on KZbin for years and years before one of my videos hit pay dirt. I did it because I loved making them and sharing them was fun. I still do

Heyy Tyler. I'm a student music production and songwriting at the ArtEZ Conservatory and I'm researching Creative Confidence. For this I'm looking to interview songwriter/producers and I was wondering whether I could interview you for this. It would take about 30 minutes and would be very helpful!

This is so true. Your fans probably came and stayed because of your productivity and frequently new videos.

Not everything is on KZbin. KZbin is bad for kids.
