Thank you for this Bible study💕, I love this story because to me it shows that when we are willing to obey and give it all to Jesus we can see a transformation (water to wine) of any situation or circumstance. Like when God calls us to do something that might be out of our comfort zone but we decide to obey and do it 100% He will take control and guide us through the situation. Hope you have a blessed day God bless you🩷

Thank you for this message :) After I watched your other video about getting rid of your backup plans, I realized that I was really clinging on to my plans and not God. Since then I have been praying a lot and just learning to rest in God’s presence. Knowing that it is okay to not know what your future is gonna look like. It’s okay to not know. We don’t need to lean on our own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) God has really been teaching me how to rest in this time of my life. And I think a lot of the time we just get so caught up in taking the next step, but sometimes the “next step” is simply learning how to be still. Learning how to trust God. I think God may have spoken to me recently regarding my future. I’m not exactly sure, but I’m praying about it, and everything, because the Bible tells us to test the spirits (1 John 4) Please pray that God would make it clear to me when the time is right. Tysm 😊

Aww Ronja, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for watching my videos! I am reminded of a saying..to “let God be God.” I think a lot of us often try to control everything in our lives or depend on ourselves too much…but God wants to be our Provider, our Friend, our Caretaker…yet we keep pushing Him to the side and trying to do everything on our own. I really love what you said about just being still sometimes…being still and trusting and knowing that HE IS GOD. I pray you will have clarity and confirmation on this next chapter of your life. May God continue to guide, establish, and bless your steps. Keep trusting Him! I’m proud of you 🥹💌🫶🏼

Aww thank you so much for your really kind and encouraging words! 🥹 I have to be honest that I did not come up with all these insights myself! I get a lot from other pastors and teachers and combine them to share here on my channel. I especially love hearing famous/commonly shared stories from a different perspective because I grew up hearing these stories and thinking I already knew most of them…but there’s so much more meaning we can gather from even a couple verses!! My friends and I have jokingly talked about starting a podcast but maybe we should think and pray more about it. 🙏 Thank you again for your encouragement. It means a lot to me because I’m actually really shy but made it a personal goal to be more bold for Christ. God bless you sweet friend! 🥹💌❤️

Interesting. This is our next Sunday school lesson, which I have to teach. The text suggests Mary has some responsibility at the banquet, especially since she gave the servants orders. I like your take on the passage. And yes, fifty percent obedience is disobedience. Keep studying!

Jesus being all powerful and states that it was not his time yet.... YET HE still chose to obey his mother. I love it.
@charlesf28047 ай бұрын
@@Immabeliever And He addresses her as "woman" in His reply to her. Jesus wasn't being rude, that was a standard address in the day, but it was abrupt. It signaled a change in their relationship, as Jesus at this point is on mission as the Messiah and Son of God. Yet, as you say, He fulfilled His mother's request. But He did it on the down-low, because it wasn't time for Him to be revealed as Messiah.

Aww I'm so proud of you for reading your Bible and being so hungry to learn more and know God better! I will admit that I've not yet read the Bible cover to cover...I've read most of it but I've not yet going through it canonically...definitely something I want to do. Exodus is so fun! You have quite the exciting journey ahead. Leviticus and Numbers may get a little rough but don't get discouraged! (You can also take a break by reading a different book and coming back when you get to those points in your reading). May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly in your pursuit of Him! Amen!!

It depends on the Bible because they’re all different, but usually compact Bibles are smaller than personal size Bibles.
