I also thought about this in Psalm 126:5-6, i looked up the niv translation for you jst incase you want to highlight that in your bible, this verse makes me tear up: 5: Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. 💛

This video was so on point for my life right now. God has been speaking to me about patience , and last week took me through the whole book of Job. Then took me through it on a online course. Just last night I was at work and Respiratory therapist just brought up his wife and how she makes bread and has to let something sit for a while to make good sour dough bread. The longer it sits the better the bread. Then he started talking about his farm. I told him I also had been looking into farming I bought the seeds and the almanac studying the weather climates for where I stay. ( Literally everything you highlighted with the green highlighter). Felt like God was speaking to me - "have patience , remember last week we talked about Job. Be like a farmer, and sow good seeds of hope !" So your bible study was right on time, thank you for your obedience. I randomly clicked on this video, I saw one of your previous videos last week or so and subscribed !

God bless you friend. I pray your suffering will not last too long, but I love the part about the bread…the longer it sits, the better it is. God is refining you sis, He’s making you more like Him. And your current suffering will not compare to the glory that is to come (Roman’s 8:18). I hope you stay encouraged and remember who God is. God’s got you, even when life got you down. I also have been wondering what God was trying to tell me by showing me the time 8:18 continuously, I keep a bible journal and have started studying the chapter and verses 8:18. I really wish I could show the picture lol. I stopped at Zechariah and haven't gone to the New Testament yet. I'm convinced this was the verse God was highlighting to me and It helps me a lot. I really needed this video. I’ve been struggling with anxiety for years and have finally gotten the help I needed. I was denied counseling yesterday because of insurance reasons. I wasn’t really sure how to process it. Last night I felt like I could be having a panic attack and I kept reaching out to God through prayers and pleas as I finally started to fall asleep, I remember one of my last thoughts before drifting off was, “Please, give me a sign that You’re listening. Anything.” And lo and behold this video was in my subscription box when I woke up. I’m trying to pray more when life goes wrong, and I need to set up a schedule that includes a Bible study (I’ve felt a calling towards the book of Amos lately). So I would *LOVE* to see how the whole thing with your highlighting process works! It would be a big help!

Hi friend, I’m so sorry that I’m just now getting to your comment! I’ve been so overwhelmed by responding lately.. hope you’ll understand. But man, this brought tears to my eyes! Thank you God for providing a sign ❤ I’m sorry to hear that your counseling was denied. That is so difficult :( I pray that God will move a mountain or two and help you get the help and support that you need!! May the Lord give you a peace of heart and mind beyond understanding as you continue trusting in Him. I struggle with anxiety too so I definitely know what you mean. But God is our provider, and carer. Sometimes I remind myself that I don’t need to do everything…I can let God be God. Take care and God bless you! He’s got you! I was in a used bookshop yesterday and I found 2 books about pausing several times a day to reconnect with god. I find it so helpful as I can get lost in the daily stuff and forget to pray without ceasing. I also like Barbara frones youtube channel. She talks alot about connecting and hearing from jesus. Hello, Rebecca. Thank you for this video. You have a gentle spirit and voice as well, which I find soothing. James is one of my favorite books, along with Proverbs. And it is nice to see a young person who loves God and digs into the Bible as you do. I am subscribing. And almost envious, as most of my time with the Bible is spent doing Sunday school lessons, much less time to read and study for myself. I definitely understand what you mean because for a long time, most of my Bible time was in Sunday school class as an adolescent or preparing to share with the youth. It wasn’t enough for me..so I wanted to find God on a deeper level for myself. I pray you’ll find the time to be able to dig into God’s Word and dig in deep for yourself as well! I always remind myself to make sure I’m being poured into as I pour into others. Hope you’ll do the same. @@rebeccaly Thank you. I teach adults, so I dig in deeply; that takes time. I am trying to be as efficient with it as I can, hoping to free up time. Depending upon the passage I'm teaching, I can get something on a personal level; that's a good thing. Sounds like you teach as well, so maybe it happens for you, too. I have the ESV Study Bible as well, though I haven't been using it much lately. Another "chunky monkey" is The Reformation Study Bible (3 ribbons!), which I've been using a ton. Maybe the ESV needs a bit of a comeback in my arsenal, alongside the RSB. Be well!
