I enjoy your videos. I've been fishing the Texas coast since I was a boy and one of the first things my Dad taught me was to shuffle my feet when wade fishing. The second thing he taught me was to never step or walk backwards after stopping. The rays like to feed behind you on what you're stirring up...just something I thought I would pass on to you after watching you walk backwards. :)

I really miss the fishing in the panhandle. I live in the Navarre/Ft Walton Beach area for while. Now I'm in the Mid West and fishing here just does not compare at all. It's still fun fishing here, just not the same. I really enjoy the great videos keep it up!

Dad was stationed at Pensacola Naval Air station. We used to fish on base with pin fish. Huge speckled trout, and pompano. 73-74 been few yrs.

I’m living in Navarre right now and just picked up fishing again coming from only freshwater. This video is perfect to help me get into saltwater, I will be heading out tomorrow with my cast net to find a spot like this.

Night fishing in the keys always produced fish usually quickly. Mangrove fishing was nuts at bocachica key. A small channel running through mangroves produces a highway of fish.

When I lived on Pensacola beach I use Togo down to where you are to wrk the grass flats. I believe I know exactly where you are. One time I hooked something that straightened my wire leader hook attachment. Damn thing was huge. Loved that place so many specks and reds!

Life bait, never failed every single time. Gonna love the sound of the drag from the spool when that rod is bend like that, even something as a small plate size Dusky or pampano or Muskie can create that kind of bend and drag on your rod.

@@ChewingToons 3 keeper so far but Florida go by 33in fork til July first 35in fork. 3 were keeper 36, 35 and 41in 2 was under. But the first one I lost was a absolute beast. It was like 55 to 65lb. Easy 60inch cobia. Took me almost an hour and half to get in in with 20lb test on 40lb leader. But tried to land it in the pier net. Net gave out and snap my line

@@calallen8786 Oh mate thats sickening. And one reason I dont fish piers. Theyre a great fight. Size limit here is 40" and I measure to tip of tail so I might be doing it wrong! Just going to clean my boat. Off out at 2am while it cooler. See if theres some Snapper and Grouper about.

best luck i had is going to the jetty's on alabama side of perdido pass. end of the rocks right by the pylon in good weather has alot of reds. if you have a boat sand island is good but alot of stingray. Bob sikes is a tough bite when i was there. The blue wahoos stadium sometimes had a good bite. Big lagoon had good trout and some mangrove on the point there
