In my opinion, the title is wrong. It doesn't sound like you've sacrificed anything in your 20s, nor should you have had to. I'd say you optimised your early 20s and are now reaping the rewards. Many of the things you've 'missed out on' such as excessive gaming, drinking, and junk food would have been detrimental to your life and actually a waste of your 20s! Hamza, You had the Uni experience; you've partied, slept around, educated yourself, and others. You've experienced deep, loving relationships, brotherhood, and foreign cultures on your many travels. You've amassed wealth and status and are in peak physical health. You've already experienced more in your short time on this earth than most will ever dream of in a lifetime, and im sure there will be more great life experiences to come. Hopefully, all the people who follow you can do the same.

But you are forgetting that he also went out of his way to do the hard boring stuff like reading, meditation, working and exercising, instead of the easy "fun" activities like drinking and partying. So in that respect he did sacrifice.

@onewill8905 I agree with you he made some sacrifices in the regard, I just meant he didn't sacrifice his twenties as a whole. Besides, if you learn to love those kinds of things like meditating and reading, it no longer becomes a chore :)

I'm 39 and did the whole regular life he often talks about. It's not like I didn't try things, I did try KZbin, Ebay, Etsy, dropshipping etc over the years and made some money but I never really concentrated myself into one thing. Over my 20s, I did a lot of drinking and other quick dopamine fixes like games, movies etc. Now I am at this age, I literally CAN'T go hard anymore. Constantly tired, depressed, don't care for my job and I have 3 kids and a wife I have to come home to so basically exhausted to do anything at night. If you're a teen or in your 20s watching this, just please live with your parents, grind for 5 years and you will be rich. Don't get into the trap of working and paying someone elses rent. It's a huge trap. Also, as much as I love my family and kids, DO NOT HAVE KIDS UNTIL YOU ARE RICH AS F$#K and working for yourself.

This is genuenly a helpful video for people who struggle with trusting the process and fully commiting (I was one of them) Im grateful for the lessons we took from this video (Lessons): 1. Sacrifice anything holding you back (relationships, habits, ect). 2. Have a big change (for Hamza this was moving back home and shaving your hair, creating a timetable to follow filled with tasks of prouductivity) as a marking point for the start of your journey. 3. Youll never regret discipline and your hard work always pays off even in the moment, you will feel way more fufilled, proud and purposefull when working hard 4. To become extreamly sucessful you have to be extreme, balance aint the key 5. Your baseline hapiness increases when you quit bad habits and do the good habits (it will be hard at first but youll be even happier than before) Youll feel proud when on the grind. Sorry hamza for kind of destroying your viewer avarage engagment rates on this video through this comment. But I hope you wouldnt mind because youve got other business to take care off. Wish you best of luck!

It really wouldn't have been easy for you to see this (people showing their milstones at a similar age etc) and still keep your head down to work, you truly saw with tunnel vision focus, and now its paying in dividends.

Meanwhile Chad : spends his 20s smoking, drinking and goes to bed when Hamza awakes, no jobs, no future : Stacies threaten to kill themselves if he doesn't answer to her messages.

From 18 to 24 I sacrificed 6 years to get my accounting degree, then moved out of my parents. I didn’t even have my own bedroom until I was 24. For the past 2 years I’ve been working a full time job. It’s easier than the last 6 years, and I can now focus on my mental health and fitness, but it still sucks. I have to be honest, I’m a bit envious. I’ve worked since I was 14 for little money and now I’m 26. I’m not a millionaire and feel like I’m behind on all the “life stuff”. Just wanted to vent that out. I know I should be grateful, but I’m not. I’m angry. Although, I’m grateful for Hamza for showing us what’s possible.

Don't despair. Your 20s aren't over, and even if you spilled over into your early 30s, you still have plenty of years left to live. Just come up with a game plan for how you can structure your life for personal meaning and impact. Even though you've spent multiple years on your degree, that isn't the end of your grinding phase. It's just the end of grinding for college (which means grinding for others). Now you can focus on working hard for YOURSELF.

I am 18 years old, i am a degenerate, a skinny, sexually ruined, porn addicted, pothead. I hate it, and i NEED to change myself for the better otherwise i don't believe i'll make it. my mom and dad both divorced at a young age, both have been abusive to me in different ways and it has reverberated throughout my entire life in many, many ways. frankly both of them are pieces of shit but point im tryna make is that i have had to fight for years now to get my license, it was hell to just get my permit and even when i got it, it expired so now i have to do the whole prosses again, i used to believe "as soon as i get my license i can start making something for myself, get away from this shity situation i am in and have been in all my life.". After watching your video and hearing you say you don't even have your license i realize that the only thing that's been stopping me is me, now the only thing on my mind is "how do i start down this path?". I NEED to reach the top, i cant sit and here work a shitty job every day, accruing debt, letting other people tell me what i can and can't do like everyone else my age, i just don't know where or how to start, I've tried going down the self improvement path before but failed and failed, but the way i see it, the only way i can ever live for myself and not be someone else's bitch dog is to ride down this life path and to do it yourself and to stop waiting for someone else to set up your future. I'm directionless and I'm scared; how do i start changing things for the better?

How did you know what to do when you were at that point four years ago? Those schedules that you setup, where did you develop the mindset to know that those were the right things to do in the first place? I remember when I started, I had no idea about instant gratification, I thought doing things fast was the right way and this mindset which was not entirely right slowed me a lot and I eventually had to learn about dopamine and instant gratification.
