I’ve always played sports and took my studies seriously throughout my teenage years. I always seemed to think that I had everything figured out during those years and during the first half of university. But ever since properly starting my self development journey when I was 20 after being dumped by my girlfriend at the time, that was when I realised I’m still a kid and that I have so much more things to learn. Embrace the process and just know that failures and frustrations are part of growth. Great video 👍👍

I'm a bit older than you guys. Let me tell you i had many waves of this sudden motivation and passion you're feeling to do improvements and changed and let me also tell you school will ruin it all. I've had to hold many ideas i was really motivated in at the moment just to study some shytty exam. Your life starts on summer. There you can actually see what van you achieve. But be careful because you might not be able to keep it all once school comes back (e.g. maybe u don't have time for going to the gym anymore). I like to thinking of high school summers as a lite version of what your life will be like once you graduate and actually have full freedom. You get the chance to planificate it all. But unfortunately school simply gets in the way all times

I really like where you mentioned that securing good grades does not secure you a high-pay job. Nothing is, really, secured. Sitting here with my 99% in Grade 11 Maths does not secure me a future better than anyone else in my school. You really don't have to play the game you have been given either. There are always other ways to earn money. You're young and you're "lucky" that you found out about this so early. But now there's still a huge journey ahead. So start going it and don't relax thinking "I'm lucky I found out about this so young. Im so far ahead of people my age" 😉 Good luck, give it everything you got. You can do this!

Being a janitor is speeding my introspection. I have lost fucks for what I do or care. I'm 21 and clean toilets. Who cares what I do with my life next. Ima do what I want. I am thinking to go to university for the first time in my life now and am much more set and stone. You are absolutely right about the harsh feelings of reality being a positive. The harder it hits you the more it teaches you, no one knows what they are doing and you are nothing and can surpass the people not knowing what they are doing. I only make 2k a month, my friends think I'm behind but I know my mindset is building up for success. I can't let their negative view points affect me and keep teaching/telling myself to trust my intuition. Hamza what you should make a video on next is the next step. Once you have the mindset of how to hold on to it because it's very easy to look around and accidentally think someone is right about something when actually you have already been through 20 lessons ahead of them but don't realise it, then your anxiety comes in again when you should of just stick true to yourself...

14:24 I can relate so much to smoking weed and having negative thoughts it’s genuinely horrible, I’m glad I’m not with my ex who smokes all the time. But I’d genuinely think I was a loser and couldn’t do anything with my existence. Far better path though now, thank you bro

I’m thankful for this video, I’m 22 been doing calisthenic sense 18 and slowly figuring out how to be a functional adult. I’ve been putting in the work at writing and understanding music I’ve recently swallowed my fear of failure so I’m going to begin refining my process and finding my sound. Cheers hamza appreciate your message.

Im 17 years old.Can you help me get friends and girls. Im currently going to the gym and lift 70kg bench press, but I dont have any friends,I dont know where to find them and I have social anxiety. When I pass by teens my age,Im nervous, especially if they are girls. I also feel lazy and depressed in life. If nothing good changes in my life I may kill myself. Since the age of 11 I was bullied and wanted to be respected and have girls and friends, but that didnt happen. The thing that kills me right now is loneliness. I cant do something without the idea of how much fun or girlfriends and sex other teens are having or will have, and Im just here all day in my home, having no interesting thing to talk to others and ussually just watching them and dont knowing what to say. Thank you for your content, its a light in the darkness and it really makes me feel as if Im not alone watching your videos. Mashalah!

As someone who graduated in engineering and could never get a job in engineering, just know no degree guarantees anything. Even STEM. and I put in over 1000 job applications (yes I counted that first year) before I lowered my standards and applied to anything and got about 10 interviews.

Even though this channel is mainly directed at men I just wanna say that hamza was spot on in this video. I left uni april 2020 with a psychology degree too and most of my friends landed graduate jobs pretty early home and even one of them has now a mortgage so at times I felt like a failure, then quarantine hit and decided to just focus on myself and decided to teach myself how to trade forex from youtube. Its now been over a year and I can comfortably say I easily make around 15K - 20K a month just sorely from a skill that has nothing to do with uni or the academic system and I still live at home. Anything is possible with time and consistency. I just had my 24th birthday in september.

It makes me feel dumb that I want to chase a personal trainers career while being an electrician, I would make more money than my friends just by not changing careers but I just don't want to settle for the "a tad bit more wealthy than the average person" future just seems so scary man not taking the basic route ...

You have to enjoy what you do and find purpose doing it. I’m 27 now and have just quit my job to start my own business. By societies standards I had the model career. I became a chartered accountant 2 years ago and have spent the last 10 years trying to build my career. I have realised that it has never actually made me feel fulfilled regardless of my earning potential. I truly believe if you have passion for something then the sky is the limit. That’s why I have taken the risk that I have. I get how it can make you scared not taking the standard route. I’m shit scared not going to lie but I know it’s 100% the correct decision for me!

How ironic. To be honest, you have the kind of energy that people need. That I don't give a fuck, this is what's wrong with you and if you want to do something about it then do this, or it's on you, or whatever wisdom you have for the viewers. I'm currently 21 getting ready to graduate from Community and transfer to University. Had a lot of shit happen the past 3 months that made me realize I have to grow in other aspects of my life. I've been in martial arts my whole life (Taekwondo, Wrestling, Boxing, currently in Muay Thai) and now I'm starting to also put my focus on my mind and on books. I started meditating, taking self-care more seriously, reading and listening to books whenever I get the chance. It's a slow progression but I'm completely different from the person two-three months ago because of habits. I just need to keep it up and see where I go 1 year, 3 years, 5 years from now.
