However,my twin's hair was red(auburn) infancy,mine was muddy blonde but my immediate kid sister and our last both are blond (yellow) We are clueless as to how these came about,one thing for certain is that,it's from my dad's side. Since he too was born muddy blond and his kid brother ie my uncle, Wait for it has Blue eyes! Having said that, my grandma though dead now was black in complexion.
