@@CornishJohn no cats are tame. Cats have never been domesticated like dogs. Cats act exactly the same in the wild as they do as housecats. I’ve been subscribed for years and today I saw a “mediocre tutorials and reviews” video of your 1/6/22 video titled “I was disrespected today” you are right being already married to a traditional woman you are fairly removed from the modern society that men deal with daily. This attitude that woman have today is the reason that men have walked away from woman and marriage. 50% of marriages end in divorce 80% of divorce’s are enacted by woman, all we hear is that men are afraid of commit but no one discusses woman being incapable of keeping a commitment. Remember the woman who was attacked on the train in Baltimore? All we heard was where were all the good men, what are you telling me that in a inner democrat city that there were not any other woman on that train where were all the woman? Why didn’t any woman help? How come not one woman used their phone to call the police? The simple fact is that more and more men are now refusing to help or assist woman in any way they will have to learn the same thing that every man has had to learn at some point in their life and that is the simple fact that “No one ever helps a man” so woman need to just man up and shut up welcome to manhood. For you men who have wives and daughters teach them not to be a princess put teach them to be careful to use tools and how to protect themselves. To the roughly 35% of woman I’m sorry that you will have to pay the price of the female supremacy movement but we men have been lied about and brow beat enough and we have gone our own way, I for one have lived in peace for over 20 years now. I do wish it was different but I don’t live in a fantasy world I have watched you raise your son with love and a firm life to prepare him to be the strong young man he has become I am proud of not only your work here but Jacks work to.

Looks and sounds like a great plan and layout. However, have you considered a workbench/table that has at least one section that protrudes out from the wall bench? Even if it is a section of the wall bench that can swivel out and back as needed. That way you could have a project up on a bench/table and can get to the project from multiple sides.🤔

Including, the wood storage rack, table saw, planer, chop saw, router table, sanders, etc., the drill press is my only fixed peace of equipment. I have now assumed that role. People didn't like talking orders from a 20 year old, but now that I'm a few years older, and they know that I'm the one signing their paychecks, they deal with it a bit better.

Put up some French cleats and leave them up. If you decide not to use them , then they will still be there when you change your mind again. I have some heavy Square tube under my bench and use it like a Tow Hitch Receiver. I have a few different thing I can attach depending on what I'm trying to achieve. I could also put those same items onto my Ute (Truck) Tow Hitch Receiver if desired. Have a short air hose near the parts wash to blow down/dry parts after washing.

What you really need is an island workbench, with an open space for your legs underneath. so you can sit and do find detail work (ie maintaining, repair of items with small parts, screws). I find workspaces above cabinets mediocre for doing real work. Maybe OK for a chop saw, or table top to open boxes, organize parts for a project, etc. For the most part, have a bench which is open on all sides works best, especially for heavy items which you can just move to the other side instead of rotating the heavy item to work on the opposite side.

Sorry to hear your broke your leg. I agree with you. I don't think it's possible to avoid a shop rearrangement. Need to work in a new space before we see how we like to work in it, etc. All the changes seem to make sense. Also, wow Jack is getting tall. It's been a while since I've watched a video.
