Something that many doesn't know is that we could have had Fight Fever characters in The King of Fighters. In the "ALL ABOUT THE-KING-OF-FIGHTERS'94" section of the Korean Broadcasting Corporation's "KOF 95 Predictions," a team composed by Kim Hoon, Han Baedal, and Master Taekuk was nominated as "Team Kim'95," but of course it didn't happen. What a shame. VICCOM closed their doors in the year 2000...until just recently came back from the dead! They even re released their second fighting game, The Eye of Typhoon, for the 30th anniversary of the company. Good for them! 👍 Hope the new VICCOM makes a collab with the actual SNK (I want to see Fight Fever and The Eye of Typhoon's characters as guests) RIP Kim Kaphwan (VICCOM's founder) He died at 82 years old in 2018 😔 He loved arcades and taekwondo. Thanks for everything 'President Kim' 🫡 Rest in Peace.

This game was made exclusively for South Korea, so SNK could have an official distributor for the Neo Geo in there. Viccom was the developer of this game and also the Neo Geo distributor in the Korean market.

You have no idea just HOW MANY there were. The success of Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat was a big bang giving birth to an entire universe of fighting games. I literally go out of my way to find rare games nobody has heard of and play them, so now I'm naturally proud of Justin for going in that direction as well. It's a strange and magical journey for sure.

Oh god, I remember seeing this played a lot on Japanese arcade channels but they usually just play N.Commando because you can have more than one projectile on screen at once unlike other fighting games.

This game sucks. I only played it because I hate myself for no reason, and it was on Crappy Games Wiki. So I played it, and no surprise, the game is garbage. The characters were bland, the controls are extremely stiff, and the screens locks you in place at times. The only good thing about this Street Fighter Wannabe #99 is the music, especially Nick Commando's. Speaking of which.... The only character I play as and I found it tolerable is Nick Commando, A.K.A, Muscular Guile with a Jason Voorhees mask. As I just spam kick attacks that works when the opponents use their moves that I can take advantage of. Overall, this game really does give me a "headache", get it?
