Personally, I usually run on the deck as low as possible to get as close to their airfield, do a pop up dump the AGMs and bugger off in the opposite direction, love the Phantom, great video and cant wait to see more content!

Yeah getting a bit closer definitely would of helped them harm launches, harder to intercept.

Great vid bro, I watched the whole thing. And yeah man those landings were smoove. Nice sparrow kill. I've had really good luck with boresight mode, I bound all the different speed gate directions to my stick so I can easily adjust in a fight. Works half the time or more.

@@FreeRangeLemon Thank you, I think one of the shots I was using the speed gate but was still in the 5 mile cage mode and fired beyond that. Kinda shocked I got that J-11 lol.

Great video, its so satisfying to watch a underdog take on more modern aircraft and win. Fantastic skills man. Love the F4. I picked it up a few days ago, still learning, but i have a blast. I fly helos most of the time, but the F-4 got me into jets. Love that thing. Im thinking about flying on contention too, since i cant get shrikes to work on multi (my buddy sets up a mission and once i fire them, they go dumb. Read somehwere they are bugged and dont work properly on multi. Have tried different methods, including the DF Rej option, lofting, direct attacks, nothing seems to work) in any case, its still a great bird to fly. Still learning tho.

Yeah I’ve never had them work. F-4 is a close second place for me just behind the F-14, believe me that’s high praise. Probably the highest quality module here rn.

@Joemate23 thanks for the confirmation man, I thought I was going crazy. And I agree, took the cat for a spin too, and fell in love with it too. My heart is with the Mi-24P and helos in general, but the Hind is getting jealous that I fly the Phantom so much lately lol. So yeah, as a rotorhead I got hooked with jets thanks to the Phantom and it's closely becoming my second fav modules after the Hind.

a "problem" with the F-4 radar is that it's horizon-stabilized. if you pull up the radar is gonna point to the horizon anyway. You need to bind the jester scan altitude commands somewhere or zoom climb to be co altitude with the bandit.

I have yet to get a single thing done with the Shrikes. Either no tone, no track, no hit or I simply have to turn because the SAM launched before I was in shoot cue parameters.

@@Joemate23 After checking the start of the video again I realized you said AGM-88 and the Shrikes are 45, my mistake. Are the AGM-88 lua hacked onto the F-4 on Contention 80s? I don't see them in the Loadout on the HB website.

@@FlameHazeVT Yes, HARMS are Lua Hacked on the Phantom. F-4Es never carried HARMs.

You absolutely can. I only fly Liberation and Retribution. I have the 4x AGM88. There is a MOD on the ED site for it. ( user files) . Very simple to install.

The thing I dislike about the contention server and shadow reapers 80s server is carrying the AGM-88 on the Phantom as the F-4E never carried them. Mainly because it lacks the actual sensors to utilize them properly. They are too easy and omnipotent when it comes to SEAD. That said, am not a purest and I like the idea of a what if. I'd love if HeatBlur could give us an F-4G so that we can utilize the AGM-88 correctly! All that said, great video!
