The good thing about living in a small community is everybody knows everyone and who to call when you need something. The first time my wife and I were in the town I grew up in she kept asking who's that! I kept telling her I didn't know. She said why are they waving at you? I told her that when you live in a small town everyone waves and if you don't it will turn out to be someone you know and they will be asking what the problem is between the two of you! I want nothing more than to move back home where you feel like you belong. Thanks for sharing and reminding me what my life is lacking. Stay safe healthy and happy 👍

Paul and Ben taking parts from another car and selecting the best from each of the assemblies then putting them together brings back memories. Many, many years ago in UK I had a 1934 Lanchester, the differential was dying, so I found a used spare one. Inside the bevel and worm gears were bronze, so my brother and I took both differentials apart, selected the best parts, then reassembled the 'best bits'. Mechanics said it would never work, but we put the differential back in the car, filled it with oil and it ran. Every month I drained the differential oil, which came out like liquid gold, did this for 6 months and then no more liquid gold. two years later it was still running. Great memories.
