Can confirm. I got a wooting board for Apex about 6 months ago and its amazing. Its hard to describe but it feels like it removes internal input delay on movement.

You can notice it pretty easily even just from typing, I make a lot of typo's by just moving my fingers over the keys accidentally.

@@sansars1you probably figured this out. But you should change the actuation point for every key Upto 2mm, all except wsad and your spacebar + crouch, those you can keep at 0.1mm

Whats neat about the wooting is the fact that you can customize it how you want, swap the case, swap the keycaps, add more lube or mods and make it even better than stock. Wooting also has a pdf on their website with compatible cases.

I want one of these but at the same time I don't like 60% boards. I really want them to make a tkl or even better a 75%. Most of all I want the switches to get to a point where I can just outright put them in a custom setup entirely. At the moment they require too many factors to operate correctly tranfering the swtiches to another build isn't possible.

If you like the movement on apex, you have to try titanfall 2 if you didnt, you will love it, the only reason i dont play apex is because the movement reminds me to the titanfall movement but slower and with more limitations, even though i recognize that apex techs are cool af, btw its for 5 bucks on steam and only for the campaign is worth it.

This is the first time I've heard of analog precision in a keyboard. I have always argued that keyboards are not precision movement for games. It would be like driving a car at full stop or full speed only. Nothing in between.

Is walking or moving slowly like you can with a controller possible in games like this and cod? Cod specifically makes you use either m&k or a controller; does this device register as a controller or a keyboard when you play games?

Don't forget guys! You can try out a cheaper version of rapid triggers with Razers analog mini! Not exactly the same level of a Wooting of course but from testing they're still a step ahead of a normal mechanical switch. So if you're on a budget and really want to try them Razer is the next best thing!

Since nearly one year I got one aswell. Custom in a black Alumininum Case, looped and better damping. It's the best keyboard ever released. The software is out of this world. I didn't waste any money on that, made the right decision to get one myself

Got the Wooting2. The gamepad "sticks" keys to walk or drive as slow as you want isn't as cool as it sounds. It's a hassle to make it work a lot of time, there's a dead point, you still change speeds rather suddenly even if you try to controll it as smooth as possible and the UI symbols in the game are changing all the time from xbox layout to MKB. That's infuriating. The keyboard is also pretty high. Otherwise it's a great keyboard. Waiting for the new Gen with a 100% layout, whenever it'll be released.

im pretty sure it was 1440x1080. Pain in the ass in Apex tho cause you have to have multiple commands for it, and it fucks up the UI so you need a hotkey to fix that whenever you get into the game as well

Once you get into the loading screen on boot. Push ALT+Enter 2 times and it will fix the UI issues

Didn't razer come with an analog keyboard too? I am not really sold on the idea since games have to have a gradual input to begin with for it to work. (and in cs go for example the ability to walk slighty faster with analog keys than holding shift is not really that big).

The good thing about the wooting is the fact that you can change each specific key. So WASD 0.1mm whilst other keys you want to only press intentionally you can set it to the max where is 4mm.

@@WhosDeityhe’s right. I went from an optical keyboard to a custom and the difference was huge. Movement like superglides were so much easier on the optical board(coming from a 3x solo q to masters). However, I like the sound and feel of customs way too much

Would be more interested if the switches were of higher quality and the keyboards themselves sounded better. The switches are mechanically interesting but not all that good compared to other traditional mechanical switches on the market, even after lubing them. Shame. Not like it makes a huge difference if you're not a heavy typer that doesn't bottom out every keypress anyway.

switches themselves are quite good and innovative, they focused on function rather then aesthetics. But i think the case sucks and the tag on the side is goofy

You can do a case transplant to a Tofu60 case (still not a fantastic case but at least it's better) but it's just not a very good keyboard enthusiast keyboard.

To all kids out there, most gaming keyboards are the same. The most it probably can help u to win at gaming is probably jz about 3%?? If you have shitty skills, focus, and reaction time, don't waste your money on expensive keyboards. But if it's just for fun? Satisfaction? GO ahead! This is very similar to those kids who already owned 240Hz monitors, and yet think 360Hz monitors will highly increase their chances to win. Save your money and get a better GPU instead or again, go ahead if money isn't an issue and u buy it just for fun and satisfaction. But if the only reason is to BOOST your chances to win?? LMAO, jz don't! Note: This statement doesn't refer to those who are already gaming at the top pro level. If you do, sure you may spend high $$$$ for the slightest 2-3% advantage.

@@acejimbo6119 It's not simply a software thing that makes the wooting great its also it's magnetic switches. Razer tried to replicate this via a software update but it is not nearly as smooth and seamless as it is on the wooting.
