I guess if I were to disagree with anything here it would be that I believe there is no tier below B. But, I also know that a B-tier character today is MUCH stronger than a B-tier character from the '90s-'00s. As you said this is a very well balanced game. Same can be said of a lot of modern fighters, but it's more impressive to me when a game has such a large roster and EVERY character is competitively viable.

Yeah, even with my meager use of every character to unlock everything in level 5 CPU difficulty (which is no slouch.), I even liked how C tier feels, except for Billy, lmao.

Not sure who's tier list this is but I can respect it. I'm not surprised krohnen is STILL good as always and it's impressive that K'dash jenet and kyo rose to the s rank. My only complaint is how rock used to be an S tier but now he's A+. I honestly wish he was still S tier with Krohnen.

They screwed over Kula. First of all i think that heavy ray spin shouldn't connect after ex ray spin, at least mid screen. It's hard to ask for buffs while that still a thing. In general i would like new combos and conversions, she is really dry for no reason, buff to one inch punch or changes to breath could help here. Also her dps are really bad pls snk, she really needs a consistent anti air 😭.

He has tons of safe options. He has a great neural game, and also many options select, plus his damage is good. In the right hands he is aboslutely top tier imo.

Stand CD - great reward especially in the corner, hard to contest, excellent hitbox, safe Jump CD - super fast and super active, probably the best jump CD in the game Does 30% damage with 0.5 bar damage anywhere off a low confirm, 35% in the corner. K' and Jenet can do more damage but their combos are significantly harder EX DP - 4 frame punish that hits VERY far (almost half screen), able to punish a huge number of moves that many cannot. (e.g. Shun's 214A, Yashiro's 426A) Its invincibility also allows you to beat any potential rekka frame trap (ironically including Kyo's own rekkas) by simply busting it out on block Can do almost 70% in the corner with 2.5 bars using a charged orochinagi loop into OTG without max mode

Rugal, Angel and Leona should be in A at least. Don't know what some people are thinking placing these characters so low. Yuri, Iori, Meitenkun, Orochi Yashiro and Yamazaki are also 100% top tier characters. Don't know why they aren't higher. At least it's nice to see a list that doesn't say Geese is garbage or mid.

Rugal is bottom tier, he's easily the weakest character in the game, Xiaohai can make Billy work, but He's also sh** when using Rugal (via random of course) , ALL the more reason to Buff him in the next patch

In my humble opinion, Terry is overrated. kyo is the most underrated/ underappreciated protagonist of any fighting game ever. plus his moveset are so versatile, he is no regular shoto like Ryu or Ryo for example.(he was back in 94/95, but had ground projectile and special grab which makes him unique). Almost every iteration, kyo has new moves to experiment with. Terry is a cool character ngl, but his popularity stems from his one liners (are you okay?/buster wolf), his more relatable to the english audience, even non kof player knows about Terry, he even was a guest character for smash. Terry is a main protagonist for fatal fury not Kof but many confuse him to be the case, so i understand why snk buffed kyo this time around, because he was trash in 14 tbh. but even if he is S tier now, if you dont have a good poking game/ fundamentals/ execution/ jump cd pressure wall bounce follow up combo with kyo. you will have a hard time with him and you will hate the character if you're not aggressive enough. He is easy to pick at first but hard to master at high level, because of his rushdown nature and the amount of input motions you have to do for his rekkas. Even though he is S tier he is not a brain dead character, he requires a lot of dexterity to maximize his full potential.

Im a Terry main he went from op to garbage(unplayable) just he like was in kof 14 you know what make the entire after 98 kof series. SNK nerf him too much in favor of Kyo, Iori and mai. This favourtism gotta stop. BTW Terry isn't overtated, Mai's is. Bitch was always on kof promotional stuff eventhou that broad didnt do shit. Girl really did the real main kof Girl Chizuru dirty. Chizuru is the real underrated kof character.

Terry is the Blue collar Everyman that relates to a wider range of people, he should be balanced better Just make his 2b 2a 6a Comboable again so he has a reliable string when up close (since 3C still whiffs often from pushback) coupled with his good damage that may elevate Terry to the first of the A-Tier to mid A plus at the very least with that single buff alone As of right now Terry needs at least two bars to have something fairly decent to convert into from crouching lights And yeah Terry >>>>>>> Kyo, he will always be the nepositsm-backed usurper in my eyes.
