^this^ [as per William] I've been watching every vid for the last few months. Won't go into all the details but ill health forced me off pedalling onto motorcycles because car insurance was like I'm a 17yr old in a 3ltr when I was 50 something - so as I'm getting older and the motorcycle is gaining weight I'm looking to double the number of wheels and not having to push in reverse. With all that Lee does, his prep, his explanation, his customer service etc.... Well I was interested in that blue Ford diesel that needed a 'new' engine but I think it's gone. Sorry peeps I'm old school - prefer Fords, prefer good economy [but with enough power just in case], prefer easy to maintain and although not a woman I did like that blue.

The gift box is a nice touch, especially around Christmas. Our last purchase was brand new £33-37k and didn't get anything other than parts missing and damage. Previously had flowers and a corduroy plush, car mats, etc.

I think the secondhand car market is going to get busier and busier because of the choking off of new petrol and diesel sales. Dealers are now rationing sales that are not EV to meet government targets. This will push up the prices of good secondhand vehicles.

You wouldn’t expect it to impact this end of the market, unless ppl think they will have a cheap run about for now. Ford stopped making the fiesta because of this (best selling car) and maybe that’s the impact we are seeing. Or maybe there was a baby boom 18 years ago!

We relied on Discos (and real Defenders) for towing and hauling, the winderful 3.0L 4 being the absolute pinnacle. But since we wore out the last one we've had to change to Ineos Grenadier, with which we are well pleased, L-R s (including new Defender) just too scarey.

The 3.0 does around 29mpg 2009-2012 models, after 2012 they became sdv6 (very similar engine) but better fuel economy and can get upto average 32mpg. Around town they will be doing 24-26 mpg on a motorway I have had them doing 36mpg on a run.
