It looks like EGO is top notch outdoor power equipment. Wouldn't mind having them! I have Milwaukee Fuel Outdoor power equipment and i love it! I have the quik lok string trimmer with, pole saw, hedge trimmer, edger and extension. Have the single battery leaf blower and its plenty powerful. Just bought the 14 inch Top handle chainsaw and i cant wait to use that. Its all been very good!

I finally switched to electric this year...I went with GreenWorks after watching several reviews and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Got a 780 CFM backpack blower and the self propelled mower and I got 2 4ah batteries and a 2.5. The rapid charger charges a 4ah battery in about 28 mins. I have roughly 3/4 acres and 1 4ah battery does over half the yard. So happy I don't have to smell like gas anymore or my car lol 😂

I'd like to see a review being done on a yard with some hills on it. I've got a little more than 3/4 of an acre but slopes everywhere. Too many doubts for me until I see a review that puts up a challenge.

Love it. I clapped my hands when you got on the motor cycle and went over the bump. Well done nice. I enjoyed it. I think the motorcycle could do with more power and speed. Put 5 kilowatt hub motor and 4 ego batteries. I have a 72 volt 46 amp hour fonzarellie with a 3 kilowatt hub motor. Its the ampsthat give me more range. So perhaps make the ego motorcycle have a bigger motor and configure the electronics accordingly.

I would consider it if they lowered the price. It’s just not worth the cost. Maybe if it was 4 wheel drive or came with something that made it stand out more against combustion competitors. Just being battery powered is not enough for me.

I'm glad they finally came out with the style I like. Unfortunately, because of the costs of how much I spent on my ryobi in 2020, I'll be using it for quite some time.... when I called Ego to ask if they were coming out with a tractor, they said no. We have no such plans. So I had the ryobi delivered. Since I was on a 5 lb lift limit from cancer surgeries, my dad set it up for me. And it has been a blessing ever since. Not only could I mow my own lawn again... but I didn't have to ask someone to put fuel in the tank. I've always said gas engines come to my house to die. One day, I will get one of these egos. Just not soon.

I have the older one, personally, if I had the money at the moment, I'd get the ego, main reason, being able to swap out batteries and use those same batteries for my other ego equipment. As far as my tractor goes, other than the battery thing. I do love it, sure beats the gas ones that kept breaking down on me. Next year, maybe... than I will keep the ryobi at my dads house.

Nice tractor but what makes it a tractor and not just a ride on mower? Can you run a snow blower off the tractor? Do you know of a snow blower /mower combo? Also if they had a spot on the mower to carry the Wacker and blower that'd be sick

While the towing capacity on it is 600 lb whereas the zero turns the ego offers I think are only 250... For dragging pull behinds this is a much better option. The bumper on the front looks like it could swap out Mount a snow plow blade.

If it goes bad I get it replaced under warranty! Anything can break, it’s how a company handles it, and EGO is rated the number 1 cordless platform, but you know that and that’s why you’re here!

Price a replacement and do that every couple of years. Then look for a hazmat center to process the dead battery.

I have had three ego 10 amp batteries go bad in about a year and half as well as I had there $300 charger go bad in less than a year. Ego has only replaced one of the three batteries. After spending $5000 for a zero turn, that I cannot use now, because of bad batteries Ego just says by new batteries. That is another $1000. At that point I should have just bought a commercial mower. Ego is all hype. There stuff doesn’t last.

@@josealvarenga9967 Prepare for excoriation for exposing EV issues. Most gasoline engines come with 3-5 year warranty, even if used commercially. That EGO won't replace the faulty batteries is very telling and the charger not working is unacceptable. I'm sorry you're having issues.

Seems nice but will stick to my gas mower. I can understand everything else being battery but the mower. I do own a Hart 40V mower for the touch up after I get done mowing with my 66in Swisher ZTR and what it can't get to. Actually surprised me how great it was. But run time is supposed to get half an acre but only gets me maybe a quarter. I know it isn't a comparison between that Hart and Ego but I think we need to go a long way yet as for the average consumer, they can't afford the battery powered solutions that actually have long run times.

My aunt bought one just a few weeks ago, she will be returning it this weekend. It only run 20 minutes on a full charge with the blades at full speed. Doesn't mow well if you slow the blades down. 20 Minutes is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!! How could you mow an acre and a half in 20 minutes???

Not a fan of lithium battery powered equipment. I have a 40V blower and hedge trimmer. The batteries don’t last long enough to finish the job without recharging at least once. My gas blower out does both batteries and has higher cfm than the battery blower. My gas mower can do my yard twice (or more) on one tank. Plus mining lithium is more detrimental to the environment than drilling oil.

I have an ego backpack and do a 1.5 acre property on less than one battery. Fall cleanup I run 2 but only need it for one or two times a year. My ego string trimmer does it in about. A half battery charge.

80V Ryobi. Higher voltage means you can put down the same amount of power as lower voltage but with less resistance in the lines and heat causing thermal wear of the batteries. It’s the same reason next gen EVs are 800V instead of 400V. Less amps needed to produce the same wattage generates about 1/3 the loss to heat and electrical resistance

Ironically, I saw the price for this tractor before the video. It costs $4,000 and comes with 6 - 6 amp hour batteries. It's not far off from what a new gas engine tractor goes for... but you're not going to have those maintenance costs over the years. That will more than make up the difference in price.
