So I think it's a better deal $15-$20 with monthly subscription rewards (and a few rewards on the 7day free trial) and u get 6 character slots. The terraforming, immersion, map size, community seems friendly Lotta roleplayers. The down side is because the game got shut down and old team was making promises and not fulfilling them the game lost alot of its core player base The new team seems promising and the player base that came are really passionate about the game Hope this helps!

as a small content creator, accepting this sponsorship was probably a really bad move, there are a lot of people who hate the makers of this game because they've screwed everyone over so many times and now a $20 a month sub based game despite it being the exact same game everyone bought years ago essentially. This may either hurt your channel or boost it enough that you gain a bunch of subs, you're a good creator so I wouldn't want to see you fail because of this. just thought i would warn you about how messed up and hated the creators of this game are.

I appreciate the compliment, I do enjoy my hobby. However I don't think it is a bad idea, will it hurt my overall like ratio sure but it'll bounce back and honestly who cares it's a hobby. I've played the game before and like the idea of their vision. I know their history of shutting it down and understand why people are upset. The new development team seems to really want to revive the game and take it slowly into a different direction through small changes at a time. The main game I play on the channel just released their subscription model and its way less of a deal than this. We get 1 character slot (they r debating adding a second... DEBATING so the games players base aint too happy either haha) and no monthly rewards as of yet. And when people invest so much of their time into a game like this they feel wronged when things don't go their way and it creates a salt mine My channel has a crossover with their audience and I'm happy to be recognized before I'm even monetized. I'm not going to censor people on their opinions or thoughts of the game nor myself unless it is radical, over the top, or just plan offensive like calling me a scam, or something crazy. People are free to speak their mind, as long as it has some merit and isn't slanderous lol idk I have a contract to honor and that being said I can now invest into some cool stuff for my channel, and cover the potential next few months of videos that I invest into. Subscribers are always good to have but if they aren't here for me and my content then they aren't going to much matter in the grand scheme of things. I was asked to promote a game I once played before I even started doing content (granted I was a moat digger lmao) it got shut down, it has a new team and is trying to run again. If this helps them boost their player base so the vision is achieved then that's amazing, because it could come full circle and help me get more opportunities in the future. At the end of the day games and the internet are just a hobby and games like these generally attract a certain type of audience lol Thank you for being here

Great game in general, stopped playing like 2-3 years ago after playing only that game for some time. Here is a link to a part of our small diversion operation inside enemy castle from 5 years ago kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaKze6qdhpV-b9Esi=7umplda5m0uOPW58 and yes, we escaped after blowing up their stuff, even though we were chased by like 40-50 people, a lot of enemies were diverted from another battle that was happening at the time and our allies won. For moments like that the game is nice, but the moment when people start leaving and your castle becomes empty and supported by 2-3 people that handle tens of characters just to keep it going are the saddest. The castle we built still sometimes comes to me in my dreams. And after that came several wipes and then the server closure. I just dont have it in me to do all over again.

Ya I understand that games like this and the other one I'm actively making content for have such a huge impact on its playerbase. I said it in my reputation video. When u spend 100s of hours in a game around the same people in the same community u start to develope real interest and relationships with your friends and allies. Games like this take a very dedicated player and a strong will to keep it growing and working. The new team seems promising and no I'm not just saying that for the AD haha I used to play this game a few yrs ago before it shut down but I was ordered to dig moats lmao 😆 In mortal online the game I play I ran a guild for like 5yrs and spent many hrs building walls watching movies with the guildies. I do hope this game sees a resurgence though truthfully it has tons of potential just needs the population back

@@Br4vadoThis game unfortunately has the same issue as any game hardcore pvp game that encourages geared people to bully the lonely players and lesser geared ones, which causes a lot of people to quickly leave the game. Normal people dont check forums before entering the game and this game requires that. Very new player unfriendly and not because of mechanics, but because of people and the spread of crating profs across the players in a group. Example - if you play alone, forget about getting a horse or you can become a horse breeder, but then you wont be able to build a normal house, let alone get some good food or tools. It requires a lot of cooperation from all crafters of the guild for it to be able to function normally, which is pretty much impossible alone. I know one guy who built his own castle far in the north on a tiny island on Avalon before the wipe, he was friends with TFA and they protected him from other guilds, but he had over 10 characters to be able to live and actually play there. Also the big guilds often have some resources outside their claim, but near their territory that they would want to protect, like 100 quality trees or marble. Some noob running past can just chop down months worth of effort in an hour, thats why usually its in their interest to patrol and kill or shoo away any visitors, which makes it even more new player non-friendly and the influx of new players is usually not big enough to support that, which causes slow death of the game, in which only the veterans play between each other. Awesome battles, i will never forget some of the sieges that we did, but without a lot of new players it is destined to unfortunately fail.

It seems a bit quicker but for the most part still seems about to be the same game as it was however new team just purchased it and is working on making adjustments. I played it years ago and it seems to be in better hands

Honestly I didn't even know it came back Until I got an email The community that did come back and the new team does seem pretty passionate about rebuilding. They do have a vision they just need a population boost to support it This conversation is also happening in another comment thread. But this type of game is already a Sub genre inside of a already niche category I do wish them the best and I do hope the game reaches its potential. I' love games like this

Blatant cash grab that hopes people forget to unsubscribe after their 7 day trial. Forced to accept a recurring sub after signing up for trial with a CC. Monthly subs being about 20 bucks according to their Xsolla. Edit: on further browsing, it seems like they purposely make it hard to find the cancel sub option so they really are hoping for people to get dinged with a recurring sub of 20 bucks a month. 20 bucks for an MMO that already failed,wtf.

So they have recently revived the game and like many games in the realm of hard-core mmo u get push back and u get fan fare Currently it's not as populated as say mortal online. However the population and active Guilds are constantly busy with projects and welcoming new players into their ranks. So while their seems to be a bit of down time due to map size there is a healthy and active playerbase that does need growth for the game to reach its vision The official discord is in the description along with the guild that helped me with the video Edit: it is one maim server

yeah great already bought this game years ago and now have to buy it again and loose all progress totally sux ,The devs admit they have no idea how the game works and players are paying to playtest this heep of garbage that shut down twice and we have already paid for ,scam scam scam.
