Wow so much negativity in these comments? Great helpful video ive played a lot of LiF in my time and would defo watch another updated one of these! The claim cost was always a time sink to pay for would be good if they made a smaller claim free to have. As well as if you died, youd respawn on the other side of the map and it would take literal hours to run back to where you were

Is there a reason to not just claim the maximum personal claim size immediately? Is there a time/resource/money cost or upkeep cost?

There use to be a upkeep it's still technically in the game but I think the new devs night be removing it. But there's no time only until you remove it basically unless it changes.

Seems odd to promote a closed BETA game. No only is the game not ready for the public to play, but it has a ton of updating to experience in the future. What am I missing here? Has the game been opened to the public? The game appears to be terribly heavy with grinding resources to the point of being too much. Even claiming land seems to be a huge nuisance. All of this just to be a farmer? That fishing pole looks more like a very long and heavy spear, or should be a sharp pole spear. The graphics are nice, but the commands necessary to do the most basic of tasks are way too much.

If you have played any of the previous iterations of life is feudal it's called a "hardcore" survival mmo for a reason. It's only seriously grind if you burden your self with tomany skills to learn whixh is meant to be spread out over multiple players. The game ia open to the public as it's a subscription based game and not free to play. Claiming land isn't difficult, as I showed in this video. I wouldn't be promoting the game if I didn't know anything about it but since I played the original a lot I think it's worth letting new players what to expect.

You need a guild claim, 40 possitive preps (from a herbalist) 100 stone & 100 Bone and you need to make a guild

My guy, you say the game isn't dead but we can see the number of people connected to the chat channels on your screen. Never more than a dozen. Sounds like this is a sponsored video to me.

There is no launch today or tomorrow just a wipe for anther play test which could go on for a year. Why keep paying for a subscription to play test. The dev's have been very deceptive and failed to communicate on their plans having everyone believe the wipe was going to be the launch tomorrow. Time to cancel that subscription and come back in a year or so.

Hmm the post in annoucements states wipe on the 10th at 2am (for us in the UK) and the servers will be down for 10ish hours. If your right ill come back and apologise 👍

@@Fortizar No need to apologise for anything. Long Tale games have handled this badly, their communication skills are extremely poor. They say they plan to have no more wipes, but you can't trust them. They are stringing players along to keep paying to play a game in a play test.

@@rats1498 Agreed, I'm real sketched out by Long Tale Games and the current version of the MMO. I've been playing LiF:YO instead, it still works. Or, well, works as well as it ever did. The jank is real but I feel like it can be overlooked because the mechanics are interesting. I wish the original iteration of the MMO had gone better, or that Bitbox had stuck with YO. The concepts were sound and enjoyable to play with.

@@feidry BtBX have been bought out by Snail Games who now owns 70% of BtBx and are working on LIF 2. Who knows what that will be like YO or another MMO. Time will tell.
