He keeps saying $50k is very expensive… no it’s not! Lexus is the one brand that hasn’t raised their MSRP by much over the years. $50-60k is not expensive for a Lexus especially in comparison to the german brands. Their cars start in that range and then you have to add on options and you’ll be in the $70-80k real quick.

That’s 51k Lexus is the ES based on the Camry with a 4 cylinder engine and probably fake leather

We’ve always bought Lexus and Toyota and have never regretted it. Our cars are all pre 2017 and don’t have any plans to trade in since the older models just keep working.

When you'd be paying like 37k or something for a mid range corolla, the extra 13k for a lexus actually doesn't seem that bad. Cheaper than a base f150 and same as a wrangler or bronco? I'd take it.
@johnfranktullo34632 ай бұрын
Please don’t compare a Lexus suv with a Jeep , bronco, f150, that’s like saying trans men can get pregnant those are 2 completely different animals

I finally figured out the game too late, buy a CPO Lexus, same price as a Toyota and so much better. The other owner took the big hit on depreciation.

My mom bought a 2024 Lexus ES300h in July for only $40,900. The car only had 6000 miles on the vehicle. The original MSRP was $50,585.

Lexus is THE brand to own and everyone knows it. You get what you pay for, thankfully they are worth it

I agree with the surprising lack of inventory. I am looking for my third and I'm having lots of trouble finding what I want available, used OR new!
@TheGamerShowsYou2 ай бұрын
The misinformation is too real, these Lexus are not selling like hotcakes. This particular dealer has no established line of credit with Lexus aka no more floor plan due to most likely scammy ways of doing business. Now they only have cars sitting on lots that customers either placed a deposit for on order or cars that were cancelled on.

Could be the dealership. Arizona dealerships have constant turnaround with inventory. Beautiful cars. Naturally aspirated is the way to go. I owned a bmw and an Audi and they were the most stressful thing to own. Extremely fun but I hated driving in fear for that something would happen or my wallet would take a beating in the near future.
@ivanjimenez72022 ай бұрын
Is BMW and Audi that bad? I’ve owned a Lexus and never had any issues, I’ve avoided German because people say they’re terrible.
@Aikynbreusov2 ай бұрын
No lexus inventory maybe because the dealer got its floor plan pulled under its feet by the bank... maybe the dealer practiced price mark-up and it got caught by lexus... so the manufacturer limited the dealer's inventory as a way to punish it for ill-business practice 😅😅😅😅😅
@BlakWiseCracker2 ай бұрын
Why don’t they enforce this same policies on Stellantis.” They’re horrible!
@Aikynbreusov2 ай бұрын
@BlakWiseCracker because franchise contract between Stellantis and its dealers are different than that of Lexus and its dealers... Lexus was a hot commodity from the start in 1990... so it was able to negotiate for a more suitable contract to protect itself and preserve power over its dealers... Stellantis is not the original contract negotiator with its dealers... it was DaimlerChrysler who who signed the contract with the dealers way back in the good old days... Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler/Jeep are not hot commodities... so the manufacturer doesn't really have any leverage for a better contract with the dealers... so we get price gauging...

They have no inventory to create demand, and charge full retail price. Dealerships got greedy because of COVID and made a lot of money because of the car shortages.
