As for your vanishing items it could be duplicate listing. Even if it doesnt trigger ebays duplicate listing when you go to list it if you have multiple of the same CD it will hide them in search results. Not sure if that also hides them when selecting your store. I also do volume cd/dvd sales what i do now is use quantity listings for duplicate items.

Those 1,000 or 2,000 listings that vanished...are you going to go through all your listings then and find out which items are those or they're just going to just be a lost inventory somewhere...? The same thing happened to me and I'm not sure if I should waste my time and hunt for it. TIA
