Soldering is not the same because you can bend it back and forth and it will weaken and break where the ferrule does not have that issue.

You said you don't use a crimping tool for 4g or bigger? What do you use?

I may have not got it in the video when I edited it but the amplifier will crimp them down for you when you tighten it up.

The box size does not determine the frequency , that would be the port size you put in the box. There are many online calculators, just google Port calculater and enter your airspace into it and it will tell you what port size to use.
