How are Queendom, I Went Too Far, Churchyard, Little Boy In The Grass, Through The Eyes Of A Child, Murder Song, The River, Exist For Love, Winter Bird, All Is Soft Inside, Why, Puppet, Silhouettes, Lucky, Stjernestøv, All My Demons, to name just some, “inspired by Mother Earth”? Even though it’s called “The River” it’s about mental health struggles, and Little Boy In The Grass isn’t about the grass, it’s about murdered children. Domestic abuse isn’t Mother Earth either. Neither is death and mourning. Her songs are inspired by all kinds of things, and your assertion is entirely incorrect.

She's not that short, lol. People call her an elf because she is magic. Because her voice is so ethereal, her style is so eclectic, and her lyrics reveal an old soul. It's almost like she's this magical ancient forest creature, like the elves in Norwegian folklore (or in Lord of the Rings).

I love this video so much. It’s like she’s Mother Nature or an earth goddess that’s writhing in pain with the damage we’re doing to her (her banging on her chest, the arrows we take to the sky, killing the birds, etc). In the beginning it’s like she’s begging for us to change, giving us warning after warning and at the bridge and the end she’s snapped. It’s at that point where we see her wrath and the hell she’s giving back to us ten fold. We see the darker images of nature (the rough waves, the harsh storms, the earth taking itself back etc) and her dancing gets more aggressive, making us pay for what we’ve done to her. It’s really crazy the more you watch it Bc you can point out these types of things. In all of her live performances and music videos you can see her using her facial expressions and movements and dances to express the meanings and emotions of her songs. It’s so beautiful and wonderful to watch, especially since she’s been doing this for so long, starting at such a young age. I love her sm

I love how you have fallen for Aurora and are utterly smitten, and you have yet to see her perform live. She is on a different level live and thy way she moves while singing is pure poetry. Her stage presence is on par with Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson and Mic Jagger - I kid you not. I have seen her twice and the energy she emits onstage is enough to light up a small town. Watch her performances of Churchyard, Gentle Earthquake and All Is Soft Inside at the KEXP, her performance of Soft universe and Warrior - Live Paris 2018 and of her live performance of Running With The Wolves, Somewhere Else virtual concert form April this year, to have your mind utterly blowne

I listen to this song and plant. Plant trees. I had enough of hoping that someone else is going to do something so I will do it myself. I live in the UK, I have a small house, a very small garden, and planted 30+ oak trees, 100+ pine seeds and some other trees as well. I am experimenting, learning every day and when I feel that I don't have the energy for it on top of all the other things I do I listen do this song and here I go again, kneeing, planting everything I can find into yoghurt pots. Now my daughter also knows that we are growing a forest, she is telling people at school I heard. This is how one little seed can make a huge difference, never believe that what you do doesn't make a difference. Whatever good pops into your mind don't even think about it, do it!

I'm pleased you are starting your journey with aurora,I fell down the rabbit hole called aurora 4years ago and believe me this young artist is very special,I can honestly say I've not heard a bad song from her, every song takes you on a journey of deep thought about life, and so many people find different things in her lyrics that mean something to them but that's what great songwriters do,but the one thing you must do is react to her live performances they are special, you will hear how great a singer she is,I've seen her live in concert and wow! There are not enough words to describe how incredible she is.if I had to pick a song for you to listen to it would have to be 54321 murder song live at the Nobel peace concert.its one of the greatest live performances I have ever seen, you will watch it over and over again.to sum aurora up in one word GENIUS.

That is what Aurora does. Her voice, words & entire being reaches into your soul and moves you on an extremely deep level. I can't count the times her songs have made me cry without even realizing. This reaction was fantastic. Aurora has a lot of really powerful songs, one of my favourites is The River, she wrote it after hearing a statistic that the majority of all suicides are committed by men, a wonderful song with a great message and video. I'd also recommend Through the eyes of a child, the vevo uk lift version specifically. A nice uplifting and empowering song is Queendom. There's not really a bad song in all honesty they're all good, not sure if you're a big oasis fan but she does a really good cover of half the world away at the same Nobel peace prize concert that she sang Murder song 54321. You've set off on a wonderful journey by discovering Aurora and I'm looking forward to seeing it, thanks for the reaction it was really great to see, all the best and stay safe

All of her songs hit hard one way or the other. She pierces right to the heart and soul of our sorrows, our struggles, the things that make being a human challenging. And, as well, in every song, she plants the seed of hope - that we have a way to reach Light, so we can turn around and help others still struggling. Magic! And no two of her songs are alike. Her first album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend has a running theme of facing our demons. I Went Too Far is form her first album. Her second album Infection Of A Different Kind has a running theme of acknowledging the battles we are standing in the middle of and facing them. Her third album A Different Kind Of Human has a theme of what to do when you have faced your darkness, how to take action and interact with the world and how to make a difference. The Seed is form her third album.

Warrior and Weirdo here and subscribing because of your great reactions to our Queen of the North. She does not mind being called weird. Her fans are referred to as Warriors and Weirdos. Calling her elf is not rude. She has a lot of great live videos I'll make a few suggestions myself after your next reaction to her. Her performances from one live show to another are usually very different so you really need to see them all and most of them are professionally done. She recently did a concert without a live audience due to covid. You will also discover she has very quick, sharp, innocent, sense of humour with not much of a filter. She wrote Lucky, my favorite, at the age of 9. she explained the song's meaning to The 405: "It's about realizing that you've been through dark tunnels in life, but still walking forward, both feet strong. We are all lucky to be alive, it's an important thing to remember." She likes how different people see her songs. For me Lucky is about going through depression and suicidal thoughts some very dark moments and not telling anyone but finding a way out and still remaining silent but alive. What is also amazing is the wide audience she attracts. I am 51 old male from Canada who adores her. You have teenagers, men women of all ages and different back grounds. Reading comments in other reactor's videos you would be amazed how big of a following she has amoung metal heads. BTW Aurora is a metal head. The song River was written when she heard about the suicides rates amoung men was higher and reasoned that men can't talk about their feelings because it was a sign of weakness. Great reaction and I hope many more to come. I will go back and check out your older stuff. PS the comment on Lucky is the most I have ever talked about that time. Edit: I know that I said I would wait but couldn't help myself. AURORA - Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d563mqSIZ8SJd9k Another favorite: Aurora - Through The Eyes Of A Child (Live) - Stripped (Vevo UK LIFT) kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXfddquLg5aBbqs In reality you can't go wrong with any suggestions given here and at some point you will be seeing them all as all Warriors and Weirdos have done and you are now one of us.

WoW! Where to start? 1. most important, you've got a new subscriber. What an AmZn ReACTion! 2. this is my ABSOLUTE FAVorite of AURORA songs. Just LOVE the message, the beat, the POWER of it. This SHOULD've been played all over. So so SO IMPORTANT! 3. AURORA started playing with her sisters piano at age 6, her sister had stop'd playing it, and Aurora thought it looked lonely. ;) she started writing songs at age 9. She's a savant, she hears music in everything, she's a gem, so unique. So welcome to your AURORA UNI-Verse. It's a marvellous one. Personally I like to watch her off. vids first, cause she puts so much thought into them, and imo, the vids propell the songs into next lvl. But they always keep you interested and leaves you open for your own experience of the song. Then I move on to live performances, and they're a whole 'nother lvl... and often very different from place to place. IN-JOY :D Looking forward to following you on this journey. All the Best from Arctic Lo-Ve Islands, Norway o/
