This is a man cave with the caveat family friendly as well. Also, the gym part to me is excellent and needed! The space is so large that when you are in the party mood that section isn't even noticed. Golf simulator is an excellent touch and separate, so you don't really hear the noise. Great place! Everything is personal of course so you really can't go wrong!

Also - @10:20 that bar table is great but as he said too small both length and width. He apparently built it, and you can as well for a minimal cost compared to a retail store. You just need patience and some skill.

I personally enjoy my “geek den” more. My house was gifted to me by my parents and is way too big for me, but they’ve been helping me collect since I was born basically. Perks of being an only child, I guess! I do have my own gym and a bedroom down there but it’s mostly a display and arcade. My dad thought a home theater would be cool but I’m not sure but there’s some space for it. If I have no other use for it I might consider it since my fiancé loves movies. I have a cleaner deal with the rest of the house and yard.

Agree with G that work out area needs a little seperation. I would enclose it in glass that way it would still feel part of it but also seperate. And he needs a bigger Tv

I had a boss who converted an old barn in to a man cave. Two levels of toys. First floor had a bunch of video games, skee ball, air hockey. Pool table, and the second floor had the bar and theater. It was really nice.

I will add to the dartboard and vending machine, I personally would replace that plain table next to the Billards one and put in a nice green /round poker table. I think that would totally fit the vibe.

I agree with Daz, it should have a dart board area. I would also put in an axe throwing area, but that's just my opinion. I would also take out the air hockey table and put in a Super Chexx. But it is all personal preference.

I’m not sure about that microwave, but a lot of the ones installed down low are actually a drawer microwave. It slides out and you put food in/out from the top. A microwave that low with a front hinged door would be silly and impractical.
