Sorry to hear yall I lost my pops closing in on 11 years and he bought me a super Nintendo for my 5th birthday and used to help me with spots in games I couldn't do and continued to have gaming consoles for the family forever. I found this video awesome because it made me think of playing games with him. It does get better over time just try to remember the good memories with them and over time it will turn from the gut wrenching feeling you are probably feeling now to one day giggling about something they did or a time with them. I still miss him and wish he was here but at the same time if he survived he wouldn't have had a great life so I also would never have wanted to see him struggling due to not being able to do the things he enjoyed in life. And again sorry it sucks losing somone like that in your life.

This is so wholesome and heartwarming. I hope you cherish these moments. My dad got me into gaming at a young age as well and although he quit playing games for years I was able to get him back into it in my late teens and early 20’s. It was a steep learning curve for him to learn how to play an fps on controller since he had only played on pc back in the day, but he put in the hours to pick it up. We had many fun hours of playing CoD:MW2 and Black Ops, and he put a hell of a lot of time into playing Fallout 4 and GTA5. I really miss playing games with him and introducing him to some of my favorites. Hell, I just miss him. I wish he had been around long enough to play RDR2 because I know he’d have gotten sucked into that one. Enjoy these times with your dad while you have them, make all the memories you can. I hope you’re well, and I sincerely wish you and yours nothing but the best!

God I wish my dad was still around. I would have loved to form a bond like this with him and happy to see how connected you are with your father. My dad died at 50 from cancer and it taught me a valuable lesson about life and how u will regret not have spending more time with them. Love this kind of content!

Wow… it’s always the Wargaming games that get dads into video games! When I was young and got into Minecraft my first real pc game besides the old Doom games still on the family Windows XP computer. My dad saw how I liked it, got his own account and made us and our friends a server to play on! Started in 2012 and I occasionally still boot it up today, it’s still on 1.8. Now he really liked caving and exploring the world building outposts and would mostly play with me but would sometimes get on, on his own at night. Now a year after I got into World of Tanks he decided to try it out and he still plays it to this day. He mostly played Minecraft when I was on, but WoT oh that was all him, heck he’s spent hundreds maybe more on stuff in that game!

I can relate to this a bit. I'm in my 30s, I have not only an older brother in his 40s who plays games, but our dad also loves playing video games too.

I've been playing games with my 4 sons since my oldest, now 21, was probably 3 and it's been a great time I'm truly starting to miss as they are getting older and have other things they need to do. Your dad playing World of Warships and you having the skins made simply made my day today, how very cool!

Would have been cooler if they made your dad a commander

I unironically think you guys would love just roleplaying soldiers on an online war type game.
