This Man Provided Over 1.4 Million Meals to Starving Kids in India | EVERYDAY BOSSES #47

Did you know that more than one-third of the world's malnourished children live in India? We interviewed Chinu Kwatra who started an initiative called Roti Ghar to feed malnourished children across India. He and his team come out every day to feed hundreds of children in Mumbai and other Indian cities to ensure that they don’t starve on the streets. Up until now, they managed to provide over 1.4 Million meals in total.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs states that at the base of every child, they need Food, Water, Air, Sleep, Love, Shelter, and to feel Safe. Children will not learn or thrive without these needs met. Chinu realized this, and is now helping these kids by providing a huge need, to help meet the other needs. This is truly beautiful.

It's amazing to me how one mama across the world can reach another mama thousands of miles apart. The mama in the video (in the pretty green outfit) was so heartbroken about her children not having food. She is very different than me in many ways but we have the same exact love for our children. I cried when she teared up ! We want the same food,shelter and safety for our children. We are all the same. Thank you for serving this mama and her babies . Where many of us cannot go or be , You are there. We send you what we can to help them . Do this to the least of these. Help the Dalit and others of "lower " caste. I love them ,Jesus loves them.

What a beautiful man. He has taken his own experience of poverty, and suicidal depression, and turned them into the spine of his giving and loving spirit. To paraphrase the English translation of the Talmud; If you destroy a life, it's as if you have destroyed the world, whilst if you save a life, it is as if you have saved the entire world. Chinu Kwatra has saved universes! I hope that his goal of being able to close Roti Ghar comes within his lifetime; I truly wish he could see the India of his dreams, where there are no hungry. All of us can help hungry kids in need instead of blaming rich people and the government. Even if it is a temporary relief of hunger. Buy biscuits at bulk and distribute it to kids begging for money at the traffic lights. Once a week or whenever you are comfortable, cook nutritious food at home and distribute it. It won't financially hurt you when you do this while buying produce at the wholesale markets. Instead of giving hungry kids money this is a better option. Yesterday, I was out for some errands and saw some children begging and from afar a few men were watching them and making gestures to them and teaching them how to beg properly to get more money. It really broke my heart and I called a local NGO and reported this situation. If all of us contribute what we can then slowly this world could become a better place.

Thank you, it is often easy to forget that there are people out there in such difficult times putting a smile on their faces. This was an humbling experience to understand that all my knowledge, experience and aspirations will not have such an impact to so many people as he did. It wasn't a complex and unique progression for humanity, just feeding people, but it is more than most people will achieve.
