“Justice delayed is justice denied” and “Justice hurried is justice buried” literally heart wrenching, how they ruined someone’s whole life without doing anything wrong, fortunately he escaped the death row but we can imagine how many innocents are being hanged unlawfully 😢 proven killers like Sharukh jatoi, jam abdul kareem bijar roam scot-free and innocents are being persecuted by the whole system.if it had been any European country he would receive millions of dollars as a compensation. May God have mercy, it’s grim, gruesome, deplorable. Speechless 😞

TCM has never failed to disappoint its avid viewers, with providing much needed stories and lessons for us to learn therein. No such story leaves me but teary-eyed and invigorates sense of utter responsibility to adjudicate cases/issues before me as a civil servant with utmost honesty without taking pressures from upper echelons. I am proud to have served the people without taking a single penny of bribe or in any case where I have dealt with an under-privileged dishonestly in my 11-year service. I have faced undue court cases and administrative nuisances against me by egoistic powerful people but such tales as this one push me forward to face anything for saving all Muhammad Iqbals under my ambit, as per will of my late father. TCM may not know but it shall create difference to the lives of multitude of people by depicting such tales gradually. No matter how limited your viewership is; you have select people as your viewers who are striving to rectify their decisions after watching your videos. May Allah create convenience for all such innocent beings languishing in prisons and keep the 'current' in me for being a God-fearing officer, aameen.

In 1992, the Rangers were deployed in Karachi for peace keeping. At night time, a university professor's car was stopped by the Rangers for checking. They discovered that his car insurance has expired 2 days ago. They insulted him for driving with an expired insurance. The professor explained that he is aware of it, the policy has a 30 days grace period, he was planning to renew it in the next couple of days. The officer ordered him to get out of his car and march a 100 meters upto the wall and come back. Professor complied thinking that perhaps its some kind of a military punishment. After returning, when he started to drive away, the Officer stopped him again and shouted at his soldiers asking if they had checked the trunk of the vehicle. When they opened the trunk, there was a dead body inside it. The professor with the help of his relatives ended up paying a bribe of Rs 80,000 (in 1992). I wonder how much money they were able to generate from one dead body and were they deliberately killing innocent people to set up such a tray on a daily basis. TRULY BANANA REPUBLIC.

I am not halfway through this conversation and I can't bear hearing this heart rending story. We don't have humans as security forces, they are barbarians. Whether it is ISI, or Police or any other. There's something very wrong with their training that numbs them to humanity. They're always scapegoating innocents when they can't find the real culprits or they want to cover them up.

In the 1980s, a man (Amjed) came from very far distance to my uncle's office for legal help. Someone died a natural death while sleeping in his quarter. Police got involved because he was a singleton, no one knew about his relatives. It was a huge disappointment for the police as there was no culprit. Since it is a poor colony, they found Amjed richest among the poor because he owned a small parchoon store. So they are trying to implicate him in the death. My uncle told Amjed that he is a commercial lawyer and this seems to be a criminal case. Anyhow, he asked his assistant to take him to the magistrates office and discuss what can be done to get him out of this mess. Amjed dissappeared while my uncle's assistant was talking with the Majsitrate in his office. Extensive search around bathrooms and street food vendors failed to find Amjed. After a few weeks, Amjed returned with a box of sweets. He explained to my uncle that he had overheard the Majistrate asking for Rs 5,000. The total inventory of his store is less than Rs 5,000. So he went straight to his neighborhood police station and settled the matter in Rs 1,500.

In 1962, a Pakistani British national Saleem, out of love for his motherland decided to permanently return to Pakistan. Along with his belongings Saleem brought a brand new Opel Record car with him. One unfortunate day, Saleem scratched the door of his car by driving by an electric pole in a narrow street. Coincidentally, he saw a policeman on a bicycle. Saleem requested the policeman to give him an accident report so that he can claim insurance for repairs. The cop replied, "no problem sir, consider it done right away". The cop searched in his pockets and informed Saleem that he has fogotten to bring his challan book, therefore he will have to come to the police station this evening for the report. He was quite apologetic. When Saleem visited the police station, the attitude was quite different. Now he will have to pay Rs 400 for the report. Being a newly British return, you can well imagine the commotion he raised. When the voices got louder, the SHO came out of his office, but the verbal accusations didn't subside. Hence, the SHO ordered Saleem to be put in the lockup. Saleem's shouts could be heard from outside of the station demanding what was his fault. Finally, the SHO told Saleem that he has been arrested for killing a pedestrian with his car. The scratch on the car was the proof. Then he took Saleem into a backroom where there was a dead body. Saleem had to pay thousands of ruppees to get out of the mess.
