There's just something so fun running TF on Ayato and doing her E skill back to back with virtually almost 100% E uptime. I felt like I can't go back to his normal set after trying TF on him. Such a based artifact set lol.

I've finally decided to go 100% on the TF set, even aside from gimmicky builds my Fischl could use a personal dps build for some teams, from the 2piece. I'm really starting to wish domains were actual dungeons with varying fights, maybe branching paths so you have different options for different teams, it's not actually a big deal but it feels so bad to hit a random ass Cicin fly with my Venti burst, having to clean up the 2nd mage after. Realistically, that's like 10s of my day lost, but it's 10s of very unsatisfying gameplay. I've got a clean rotation now, but there's still that bit of rng with their teleports etc., and it's always the same bs, I need to switch up the domains to stay sane but it's usually best to get things done in the short term, and it just feels like you're getting nowhere for that much longer, then you probably get a better spike too, but those dead patches of fodder and incomplete builds are very boring.

So, I’ve been thinking about mono hydro a little bit, and even though I recognize that they’re not the best teams because reactions are so strong, I think there is one Ayato mono hydro that works pretty good. It’s Ayato, Xingqiu, Barbara and Yun Jin. Barbara is on clam and has ttds, Yun jin is on Petra. Maybe some people don’t know but at c2 Barbara gives 15% hydro bonus whenever her skill is active which will be indefinitely. Rotations would be like this: Xingqiu burst, skill, Yun jin skill pick up hydro crystal, burst, Barbara skill, then Ayato burst then skill, because he gets a bonus for attacking in his burst. In this case both him and Xingqiu get the Petra buff and the hydro buff.

If you really want to go for a Hydro team like that, you're generally going to be better off replacing Barbara for someone else, either Bennett or Jean, but that's definitely a fine team to use if you like it!

btw about TF in taser, I don't think it helps because your rotations is locked to 25s anyway because of fischl's cooldown, so shortening the rotation to 23s doesn't help

@@imranazdi3619 Fischl's E has a 25s CD. Yes, Oz will have 100% uptime if you time your E and Q properly. But this does not change the fact that if you want to build a fixed team rotation with Fischl, then you are locked into a 25s window. If you are in say, Ayato's E or Raiden's Q or Yoi's E, you cannot re-summon Oz because you cannot swap to Fischl. In teams like this, you end up summoning Oz when you can, while still trying to maximise uptime. Still, sometimes you are just forced to take the downtime.

It's very rare that people maintain perfect swaps for multiple rotations, so getting that extra 2 seconds can still be very valuable, and in my experience it really has been, but for perfect rotations that's a good point

Are there any meta/optimal teams where Ayato would be BiS in? Tbh he seems like a good flex option for any team, but not the best in any. Ayato enjoyers will still like what he offers tho (Yae mains still in Shambles Sadge) Was also interesting seeing how 1 mistake (ironically from the one where he skips the description) from Zajeff’s pre-analysis impacted the actual results. Glad he followed up on it tho.

sucrose taser would probably be better than ayato taser, damage wise and survivability, sucrose just swirls too much causing lots of EC. Would Yelan be better than xingqiu in taser? Not sure yet, but damage wise probably about the same as C6 xingqiu, the DMG bonus for on field character only will affects sucrose since she's the driver, not sure how significant that can be. A few factors to consider here, first Yelan synergy in terms of CD, her skills is on 10s cooldown, so generally you'll get one per rotation, this might cause energy issues, or you can just run sac just like xingqiu, but will it be enough with her particle gen? Next is hydro application, would it be as good and consistent as xingqiu in ensuring there's always hydro on enemies for sucrose to swirl? and lastly survivability, you'll only depend on Beidou for her damage reduction since xingqiu is gone, so it'll be harder to play and less braindead than xingqiu, but if you played ayato taser you'll know it's not that hard. I'd say for now they're probably the same, which means that if you need xingqiu on the other side it's fair to say that they're interchangable and won't be too much of a difference.

It's pretty good, but the attack speed boost has basically nothing to do with it. It's unfortunately very minor. That being said, the team you've described is basically a sunfire overvape Ayato team, and that's definitely solid assuming enemies don't get knocked back by the overloads

@@cocoroach_ok I use hyper carry team (venti/xingqui/bennet/ayato) and it works beautifully. Ayatos playstyle naturally requires high field time so I feel he works better as a hyper carry.

Well "hyper carry" means buffing one character and let them carry the whole team Yae can't buff Raiden (Unless you decided to use TTdS but please no) so if you use Yae it's gonna be more of a Mono Electro so I'd say C6 Sara is better for Hyper carry Raiden

If you are comparing Raiden Bennet Kazuha Flex then the best flex for single target is Xingqiu. Sara is next and have more AOE. Yae is last but you'll have double nuke plus turret that can target the mob that's not your primary target.

Generally yae is better, especially for multi wave content. But for speedrunning purposes with single phase figts where you're just aiming to one shot, sara is better

People generally wouldn't call a raiden/yae team hypercarry, but I assume you're asking about raiden/kazuha/bennett/electro. I think both options are pretty underwhelming compared to Fischl, but the difference is definitely not that big. Yae and Fischl will require more investment than Sara would, and Yae has a nice nuke you can use for killing the first wave of enemies in some situations. They're all solid team options

I am very satisfied with him.....his hydro app cooldown is maybe not the best one but it is good enought. I find Bennet,C6 Sucrose and Xianling is best team If he vape one slash I could do 60k with him if not xianling vape with 50k.....I dont have and like childe soooo he is best what I have with his Haran I clear abyiss easy But he is so flexible You can really change different versions of the team with him

From my opinion better build your Rosaria, because Kokomi already taking role from Mona [as Hydro Aplication and buffer(with TTDS + ToM)] and Diona(healing Utility). Build Rosaria as Sub DPS + Battery with 4NO + Favo Lance(maybe ER minimal around 155%)

If you can clear 36 stars, you can do as you please I guess lmao. But would recommend Rosaria or Kaeya (or subdps Ganyu if you have her fr). Kaeya will probably do more damage than a C0/1 Rosaria if his burst gets most of its hits in. But Rosaria can hit in a much wider AoE and gives crit rate, which has varying value depending on your Ayaka's build. If your Rosaria is C2+, prolly best to just build her for now

@@Zajef77 So, just a little side bit, but I’ve found that if you run black sword on Ayato, that tiny bit of healing is enough to keep him alive since he’s the Beidou driver. Especially because it’s coupled with her little shield. It might not be as good as Xingqiu’s damage reduction, but the healing is somewhat comparable.

I use Ayato Xiangling (C4) Bennet Zhongli and I always use Ayato burst first because of his passive. His burst last for a long time and his skill hits around 20-22k x15 on Bennet’s burst and Xiangling vape 100% around 45k per hit. With Primo Geo I can kill it with 1 Ayato’s skill using this rotation. For abyss, while Ayato’s skill on cd for 6s I swap to Zhongli for shield, Bennet’s skill and Xiangling skill. I always have 100% uptime with their burst due to high er, then use second E to apply hydro for the remaining pyronado. I don’t have Childe but I have Xinqiu, and the biggest difference between Ayato & Xinqiu is that Ayato is an AOE Chad. Massive hit from Ayato and massive VAPE from pyronado instantly kill any enemy nearby.

you will vape the time for xiangling because his ult applies lots of hydro so ALL xiangling hit will vape. ayato and childe vape are same but childe can vape his big dmg burst which ayato can't do till c6. but apart from the big burst damamge ayato all the way for me, i benched my c3 childe. because ayato is just sooo easy to play with

How valuable exactly is hydro application in taser if you aren't swirling everything all the time with sucrose? Is Ayato really good with Beidou moreso because he NAs a lot and in a large area, with his hydro app not being the most significant part?

Still pretty valuable, since EC damage isn't completely irrelevant on other units, and non-sucrose anemo units have a pretty good amount of off-field swirling going for them. Ayato being good with Beidou has more to do with the fact he's an on-field auto-attacker, and Hydro didn't have a particularly good one of those before him
