I was laughing all the time. 'Yes' man was bit drunk. However he was telling in the local language to everyone to charge you the correct price and give back the correct change. I think he was trying to keep you company because he may have been wondering why you were talking to yourself. I do not think if he was expecting any money from you but he was simply drunk and funny. He would have taken the money if you had given more but for me he did not seem to be expecting anything more. He did not understand anything you said although he pretended as if he understood. But he looked bit scary though. The local guys anyway did not seem to think that he was dangerous. Local guys also did not ask him to go away. But it was fun. 99.99% of the time, foreigners are not harmed in Sri Lanka.
