I’ve ran a rather similar game to this, it’s *a lot* of work. It’s so much that for the second rendition of it, I’ve brought on several other people to help run it. That said, I am unsure of the specifics of Inkunzi, but from what I can gauge it sounds like a royal mess of work for those running it

@@viktorrevon4606 I used to play in something similar on the SpaceBattles forum like a decade ago and I understand it also crops up on Sufficient Velocity. But, yeah, those pretty much had to be simple things with eight or ten players for bookkeeping reasons. For the most part that sort of game died out like a decade ago with most strategy games being democratically-run 'quests' where its any number of players voting on the actions of a single nation or power of some sort. Inkunzi seems crazy big and freeform in comparison.

@@DziubYY Yeah, theres (somtimes too many) rules, but most of those are for mechanics (like armies, tax/income, etc, etc.) Most rp rules are lax, unless its somthing horrid that was described too much, like warcrimes :)

That said it would be cool if you maybe did a small credit in the bio of your inspiration from him since its basically one of his vids in both style and music, not that its copyright or anything. Just would be nice to have 'sources' cited is all. Keep up the good work lad, genuinly love seeing these vids.

The music is all free lisenced from KZbin, alot of youtubers use it. I spent alot of time trying to find music that fits my visual style. And I'm not even covering the same topics as the guy. Sure his videos can be an inspiration, but so are Fredrik Knudsen's, AltShiftX, and many more creators that I love. We all learn from eachother

It'd be cool if you focused a little bit more on the battles in these videos, maybe like small battle maps and stuff to illsutrate what happened, but also I dont know how battles were ran and how much freedom players had in battles, and if it wasnt much then covering battles probably is a little bit unneccessary

@mike8930 yeah! It's hard because at this point the battles were not "simulated" like in total war or anything. So I just have to go off of what was described by the players after the battles were calculated. There will be a point where I can actually describe and show how a battle played out. And I dont want to make anything up. It's a learning curve for me haha.

@@CalmDownLevelUp Oh, idk if you'll take this advice since it might be more effort than its worth but in my NRP we had like a battle map and players would submit what moves they make and stuff and when 2 or more units engaged during a battle we had a whole calculation system that decided who won and the causalties of the engagement

If you watch any Jack Rackham videos, some of the stories of these rulers are so great and end in such a boring manner. Like the ruler of Tunis who was a ruthless leader and planned to march throguh Italy, the Balkans and Constaninople to stick it to the Caliph, only to die of dysentry in Sicily
