Basically Dave lost twice and I am thankful he was willing to finish. What a game by the Great Carloticus.

He’s back baby! This is GC clearly back in his groove. Cool under pressure. Creating opportunities in the end game. A great match as usual.

Wauw , i'm impressed by this game . I think this game shows the difference between blitz and usual chess . Dave had to attack ( all in ) , because this is blitz chess and well...if you go all in Carlini is just too good and he will find a way to get you . He had to wait for a while and then he saw the gap . If this wasn't blitz Dave would have probably won . Man...Carlini , an awesome AWESOME chess player . I enjoyed this game , 🙏👍🇳🇱

0:18 Here we see Carlini trying to bait Dave into the Assault's Gambit which is a classic mistake as it could lead to an easy winning position for black. Luckily for Carl, Dave refused to use that opening for reasons unrelated to that particular game.

14:19 or instead of rook take g6++, you could move knight to f7++

At 2:13 Carl missed a move: this evaluation dropped. I think the move he missed was d5, attacking Q and B at the same time. At least that's the move I saw in real time!

Ok,I'm not good at chess but I'm trying to learn here so I was wondering about in the post game analysis at 13:41 in the video why move the queen to D1 when you can simply move the rook over to D1 and have the queen protect it? Wouldn't that be a better position?

Dave Man, you missed so many opportunities to Check and Mate Carl. I'm thinking instead of buying Dave a coffee, we should get him glasses cause I've been noticing Dave missing a lot of Checks and Mates lately. Great Match either way though.
@sagarsoraisham58224 жыл бұрын
I'm a noob at chess, but i think there is a way carlini could have save his queen, correct me if I'm wrong. White king goes g1, If black queen takes h3, white queen takes knight. If black knight takes h3 with check, white king goes f1, and if black knight goes f4 threatening mate, white king can do g1 again protecting the mating squares... Correct me if this isn't working
@philp.60843 жыл бұрын
Then queen G5 is coming with check and no matter where white moves the king, queen g2 ist mate

After they started singing military songs I started singing the Army Song to myself and was still singing it over to myself (I was in the Army for 4 years) at 8:32 in the video when one of them asked how does the Army song go? I just about lost it lol! I said to myself,I just told ya,weren't you listening? Lmfao! Anyways here's the link for the Army Song,since you asked! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpTZnZ2crKasjrM Great game guys! Love the videos y'all post,especially the blindfolded games! False sense of security. It's a coffee chess jolt 4 shot finish. Carl knew more attacking pieces is worth more than having fewer high value pieces - then ripped the game away from him.
@lordhawkeye4 жыл бұрын
Thing that bothers me about those who by Carl is that they are so busy trash talking that they don't plan their moves on his turn. They waste so much time they either flag or blunder themselves into a loss. Dave being the worst offender. Carl v Duck games are great as the trash talk is mostly cut out. Duck does not waste time with the chit chat and Carl knows if he does not take it seriously he will lose.
