You are blessed. I lost my daughter two years ago to an impaired driver on the way home from school. She was 8 years old. I started fishing in the spring and go every weekend. How the heck did I miss this vid? I can appreciate what you're saying here Brian. I was a career soldier of 21 years, I missed everything in my children's lives birthdays/concerts/girl scouts/school activities/holidays while being stationed and deployed all over the world. Any time I had to spend with them meant everything, every moment stashed away in my mental vault. This lifestyle emphasized how critical it was, every mission/assignment, that I had to make it back home if not for just a little while. I commend you Brian for finding your way and happiness. I sometime live vicariously through my younger siblings and friends, watching them with their families now navigating life. Thanks for sharing... This was a tear jerker for me. BLAT, the kids are great! They have a way of simplifying your life when they are born because they become your priority. I too had a job that took me away from my kids days at a time. But then I had other time with them when others had to work. It’s very simple , they just want your time and attention when you are home. Today is my wife and my 18 year anniversary. We have 5 kids (3 boys, 2 girls) ranging 18 to 11. And today I've been soul searching and realized for about a decade plus, all i did was work 7 days a week, and missed a lot of then just being kids and growing up. Been fishing, kayaking, and hiking a bunch this summer, and plan on from now on. It's like I'm trying to make up for lost time. Respect for you seeing and adjusting early on. It's time you don't get back. So for real brother, respect for the path you're walking and how you're walking it. If every child had a papa like you the world would most definitely be a better place, but we can only control our own path and guide our children's. Keep it pushing tho brother and shine. Be safe

There was motorcycles , and then there was pink 😂🤣😂😂😂 love it! I have a 4 year old boy that’s 100 mph a.d.d mess making machine, and me and his mom, (my wife) love to fish. Ok now I have a 13 year old daughter I get twice a month, and she stays with my (ex wife) her mom. She doesn’t like to fish…..at all 🤦🏻‍♂️😂. She’s laid back , lets go to bath and beyond tape and a mix of tomboy. Yeah I have a very up and down life 😂. I used to ride Harley Davidsons , but had to sell it unfortunately to pay off bills. But my wife now her dad gave us a boat and we go fishing, plus you can’t get the whole family on a Harley unless you got a side cart 😂. So I started my own KZbin channel Fishing With Faith Outdoors. Live doing that and try to include my family in it too. The biggest thing for me is when trying to balance family and fishing is keeping God right in the middle. The Bible tells us what to do, especially how to raise a family and deal with life issues. With out Christ we are nothing. And the only way to heaven is through Jesus. Love your family and love your channel. Keep up the good work man. I’ve been poking at my wife about moving to Clark’s hill on the Ga side since we live in mid ga 😅. I’ll get up there and fish it one day lol.

You're a lucky man, and those kids are even luckier. Everything you said in this video is true. As far as being a girl dad (I have two girls, two boys) I'll tell yah, it's really not that much different, biggest difference between mine, the girls are more artistic so we cater to that with them, but they're just as tough, competitive, pig headed and hardworking as the boys are...maybe even more in some cases. The world is tough, we gotta teach em how to thrive. You're off to a great start my friend.

All I can say is that this may be the best video I've ever seen on KZbin. This is a great video. Not a good video. A great video. I know exactly what you're talking about in so many aspects of this video. I'm not a girl dad but I have a 21 year old son and a 13 year old son. My main goal in life is to make sure that both my boys become great men. That's it. It's hard because I work in PA while they live in IN. But I have a wonderful wife and my boys are just excellent young men.One thing I've learned is that kids notice everything! So keep doing what you do and things will work out just the way you want them to. Oh, and please don't stop fishing ever again!!! LOL We miss you when you're gone. I'm 51 years old and I'm starting on a journey to become a professional fisherman because of you.
