If you happen to see this I and I could give my humble input I would highly recommend you consider going with an aftermarket ECU like a Holley Terminator especially since your putting a turbo on it. It gives you so much more control over things which ultimately helps with reliability and longevity of that LS.

Kaulin wanting his truck to go lower instead of higher is cool and a complete 180 for this family. Rudy can get it done. If the control arms never cross center then there won't be any bump steer. Both front tires will stay in alignment with each other instead of the toe changing. You can use taller ball joints if you have to. It will make the steering feel much better and lower the front roll center. Mount the rear track bar as low as possible and keep the sprung weight to a minimum. I would also use sway bars front and rear to further improve cornering. It could handle like a sports car. Cool project.

GREAT fabricating! You show zero fear - love it. When tacking, instead of turning your head sideways, maybe point it down so the brim of your hat shields your eyes. I heard the flash can still damage closed eyes. Anyway, it works for me.

I am from the UK and I don't think that it would be possible over here to get insurance for a new driver, such as Kaulin, on a turbocharged V8 vehicle that had undergone so many modifications. Our insurance industry would have a coronary.
@Shaggy314th11 ай бұрын
Do they have to inspect the vehicle? If not don’t tell them.
@daviddaw99911 ай бұрын
@@Shaggy314th If you have a claim, it will probably be inspected and any undeclared modifications will void your insurance. Declare the modifications and you probably cannot obtain insurance, so you are in between a rock and a hard place.

Broken exhaust manifold bolts on LS motors are very common. I have 2 on each side that are broken on my 6.0 and they have never had a wrench on them. Expansion and contraction over the years kill them.
