I think Manchukuo into reforming Qing is actually the most powerful nation in HOI4, a China with not only no debuffs, but a ton of buffs, and even more cores than regular China, and industry and resource events, is surprisingly extremely overpowered! Honestly one of my favorite games to play. EDIT: And don't even get me started on how overpowered the Road to 56 version is, giving you free puppets of all of india, in dutch east indies, southeast asia, etc, though I like the base game version much more.
