Decision fatigue is a great way to describe what I’m going thru rn. Been putting out singles every 2 weeks since July and am writing, producing, mixing and mastering all my songs. I felt like being a perfectionist and stressing over tiny details was making me fall behind and also made the process way too stressful/unsustainable. Now I try to ask myself “is this decision I’m stressing about a big deal or am I just blowing it out of proportion and setting unrealistically high standards?” That usually helps me place more of a focus on the bigger picture things that matter and not dwell over the small things that don’t as much. Great vid.

I can 100% vouch for this. I adapted this same mindset at the beginning of 2023 with practically 0 followers/fans across the board. Agree on this, usually I feel it in my gut fast if a melody is the "one". Then build around that. I already have 200+ original songs released in the past 10 years and going forward into 2024 the plan is to release 2 songs per month, sometimes 3 if I'm in a good work flow. Love these videos!
