You invest money to do your power washing professionally, why would you paint asphalt like this? That is not how you paint asphalt professionally. What a joke.

You have to start somewhere. When I made this video I had no money, a brand new business, and a family to take care of. I recorded this on a shattered iPhone 10 when I had 15,000 followers total. Now I’m doing very well, and have millions of followers and subscribers online. I would suggest offering constructive criticism to people you interact with instead of lashing out, but maybe that’s just a southern thing. All the best!

@@AkSonya1010 this is actually how professionals do it for small lots, bigger lots may require a machine to finish in a day, but there’s literally no difference in the paint used or the color or even the finish, in fact it actually looks better when done by hand because your not risking a thin coating from a machine messing up. He could’ve used stencils or tape for slightly straighter line but it really doesn’t matter too much, (especially when you have a steady hand like him) when a day later they have tire marks all over them anyways 🤦♂️. @allsidespressurewashing keep at it man 👍

@@josiahdouglas7432 sorry, I am sure you have seen people do your profession the wrong way and you go ugh! That is how I feel. I painted asphalt for 11 years, I promise you, large or small that is the wrong way and it won't last as long.

A good sales practice is to reach out to every client promptly after you've sent a proposal with a simple "i just wanted to confirm you had received my quote and if you had any questions". This will show professionalism, confirm that your quote was received, and provide an opportunity for the client to adjust any details.

As a Business Owner myself a key component is communication. Set up your email with a signature to ask the recipient to respond that they received the email no matter what you want that knowledge.

Out of curiosity, have you bought a linelazer yet? I feel like you up-sell your customers to a long-life product like cold applied plastic if not. The priduct costs more and youd have to use alot of tape byt the margins are great and itll last longer than lines from a linelazer
@MM-jf1meАй бұрын
An understandable mistake. It's good you reached out again so that at least you didn't accidentally burn a bridge professionally; hopefully they'll keep you in mind for the future.

Due to spam blockers, and people’s inability to manage them, I have found email to be a completely unreliable tool. For any critical email, I request confirmation that it was received. If I hear nothing, I followup with a “hey did you get my email” call or text. Never trust email alone without confirmation.

These days it's more easier to make mistakes especially over the internet. But this mistake what's made on both parties. You're not checking back and the client thinking you were going to call them with the quote. You should have the minute you got done with the quote then send it. Preferably on the same day if you don't hear from them that day or the next. Call find out what's going on do not assume they will call you. Even if they say they will. It's just like applying for a job at a factory. If you don't show persistence it only goes to show that you are not interested in doing the job. That's the reason why you lost out on this one. That's an old saying goes live and learn don't wait on them or you lose. Believe me I've been there and had to learn that lesson the hard way to.😢
