This Mod Will Flood Your World into a Halo's Flood Infected Nightmare

As a recent Halo fan, I’m exited to see how this goes! For those who don’t know; the flood are one of the most interesting, important and dangerous parts of the Halo lore! The series’s namesake: the Halo rings are galactic super weapons designed to destroy the entire galaxy if the flood were to ever escape containment. The flood are controlled by a being called the Gravemind, and do function like a parasitic infection. They are even capable of taking over technology (I think I didn’t really understand Halo 3’s ending.) The flood are so dangerous of a threat that the humans and Covenant, who have been at war for decades, come together to fight the threat. Plus, they have a cool design. Edit: The magnum is hilariously accurate to the first Halo. Makes me wish this mod added the assault rifle for mowing down hoards of flood infectors.

I was testing the mod against other infections and i realize that the infector pods can actually infect basic infected from Fungal Infection Spore and i think sculk horde too (also i noticed the Flood seems to no give much biomass to the sculk and they invade them pretty frequently draining their biomass pretty fast)

Yes that's part of our "Dominate All" mechanic that's pretty simple, basically gaining an upper hand over all of the infection mods, to make them stronger on the back of other mods :)

I am unsure if this is a feature of the mod, but the idea of blocking with your shield and placing the cannon of your gun on top of it for stability and aim is rather smart. And cool. =)

Something i realize with the mod is that each base form (the only forms avialable for now) is that each one has a several variants with some with more health or speed some spawn in higher waves that caused me to face something that was basically Flood flash beacuse God that thing was scary. This also means that and the sangheili form has the variants of the game with the spec ops elite being the most dangerous (they can have energy shields that reduced damage recieved 6 times) and with an energy sword they can do more than 23 damage per hit (also point out all of the attacks the Flood forms do have are damage)

The mod is pretty interesting actually! I like its dynamics. It was made to be "playable", unlike Spore which is totally impossible without OP mods and TFTH which becomes unmanageable if you don't kill the inbcubator quickly. And I really like the gun stuff! Thanks Karat. +$2 on streamlabs.

I think the point of the mod is to become extremly hard too but withbthe benefit of giving plenty more time for the player to prepare before it hits apocalipse

So in Halo canon this is like the feral stage, which is the weakest stage and they have no intelligence other than to just infect. If this mod goes in the direction I'm thinking it will go in, it's going to be pretty insane.

i think a good playthrough would be this flood spore mod in survival + adding McDoom mod (minecraft doom eternal basically, adds all weapons, artifacts, etc, armors) from doom and you can see the doom monsters in the nether or doom nether hell as well. and then just going into a horde and destroying all the infection would be really fun
